How much did they spend last summer on a load of dross? Over 100 mill? I know Edwards has a reputation but I doubt he will be that expensive and he does have the ability to change games and in the Championship he could win them a number of points in their quest to get immediate promotion.

Fulham took a gamble on Mitrovic who had a shocking reputation at Newcastle as a trouble maker and they have grown to love him. I think they are exactly the type of club to take a risk on Marcus
Scott Parker will know all about Edwards , that may be a good or bad thing.

Does anyone outside of Betis think Lo Celso is worth €75m? When Ndombele just went for €60m (+€10m)?

Seems like €50-55m is where it should be. This is going to go to deadline day at this rate. If we want to get this done I really wish we'd get it over the line by August 1, but I don't blame Levy for not wanting to overpay by €20-25m, especially when we are still trying to bring in Sessegnon and maybe Zaniolo or another midfielder/CB.

So by the look of things we're reported to be getting

£10m for Onomah (few German clubs linked)
£25m for Rose (few papers reporting that)
£25m for Trippier
Then if we manage to get rid of Janssen, N'Koudou, Edwards and Wanyama then we could get another £25m maybe?

We could get Lo Celso wihout selling Eriksen and then get Sessengon as well.

To be honest, these Woolwich fans look like that young brother to which you give a spoon and a Tupperware to drum on and he's more than happy with it.

And in the meantime, there are his older brothers next to him playing with brand new drums and other kinds of shining instruments (the likes of N'dombélé).

I'm cool with that, this lad looks happy with what he has... only one day to realise he was basically playing with crap, which is then taken back by his father Real Madrid.
On that day, he's going to cry like the young boy he is and we are going to watch all of that, while eating popcorn.

Think it might be because of the sell on fee they have to pay, which clearly isn't our problem but still that's probably why they are wanting so much.

I agree with you though, especially when we got N'dombele for the price we did, Lo Celso should be below that valuation but nothing surprises me when Maguire is being touted for £80m, the market is so distorted now.

I just hope Poch gets his players, which so far, he has.
