Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Sometimes I can't tell if the people hate Spurs and love them.... Maybe it's one and the same.

No one on here hates Spurs. The only reason anyone gets the arse at Spurs is because they want Spurs to do well and can see it going tits up.

There seems to be 2 factions. The ones who have seen, year after year after year Spurs selling to buy. And those that are fucking thick.

For those (like me) who thought RB really needed the GLC cash they are only net -£9 mill according to :

But the guy they are after is reported to be £25 m.

Real Betis are closing in on a €28m deal to sign Espanyol striker Borja Iglesias this month, report ABC de Sevilla.

The 26-year-old only joined the Catalan club last summer in a €10m deal from Celta Vigo and he netted 20 goals in 43 appearances in his debut season.

The reports adds that “Iglesias is determined to play at Real Betis,” and has rejected other proposals to ensure a move is processed.

He starred under Espanyol boss Rubi, who has subsequently been appointed at Betis and who could prove instrumental in any such deal to the Seville-based club being processed.

“One of the things that I have never doubted is that when make a decision that it was the right one and the one I wanted,” Iglesias told La Voz de Galicia.

“My next destination? The decision is not only mine but that of my family, my friends and, above all, my agents, who know about this - they have a lot to do.”

Everton have also been extensively linked to the in-form striker although in February, he was cited as saying by Diario AS: “I see myself here and there is no reason to think otherwise, I am happy and I have a contract.”

The Galician native netted 23 goals for Real Zaragoza last season on a loan spell while the prior campaign he grabbed 34 goals for Celta’s B team.

However, Espanyol would be powerless to stop Iglesias leaving if his release clause was met and there are greater financial rewards for the player available at the clubs interested.

He is now said to be open to joining Betis, who have already signed striker Juanmi from Real Sociedad and sold Sergio Leon to Levante.

They don't read the room well, do they?

Some of these people seem like they just need a hug... and maybe a xanax or two.

Really can’t see Coutinho happening. Liverpool apparently interested too, and if he’s on loan I can only see him going there.

Yeah, in fact it's worrying that we've been linked with him.

Makes me think neither the Lo Celso or Fernandes deals are happening but Eriksen leaving IS but the only way we can swing it is by bringing someone, anyone, in to try and replace him.

It's pathetic and Levy at his absolute worst. He must own some uncompromising photos of the Lyon president for the Ndombele deal to have happened!

Yep....so much for his 'seeking a fresh challenge' statement if he does go. Would then turn out not to be an ambition issue at all....purely mercenary.
Aren't all players mercenaries? They have a very limited time to earn as much as they can, so the financial angle is always front and center. There's a very small minority who end up playing for the team they supported when growing up. And even those will move to greener pastures, if they present themselves.

Eriksen doesn't owe us anything. It's not like we nurtured him and gave him his big chance when no one else would. There were plenty of suitors that would have picked him up, if we hadn't. Whether we like it or not, the only thing Eriksen owes us is to honor his contract and thus far that is what he is doing.

Perfect example of melting. Drawing absolute conclusions out of your own speculation based off a fucking twitter rumour.

I haven't really read anything angry or depressed in here.
Realisation of facts isn't a sign of anger or depression.

If some one has concluded we've messed up the window for the 20th time in a row, it is just that.
No one is crying into their dinner about it, just pointing it out.

My personal suspicion is it'll be the OTT optimists that end up having the meltdown around November when United sack OGS and take Poch off our hands.
