Coutinho and Sessegnon would be a dispapointing end, but if Coutinho is a bonus signing (which he should be as it's only a loan) then we should be getting Lo Celso as well. We need to increase the number of top players in the squad, not just swap one for another. We will be competing with City who have an insane midfield full of elite players.

If it's selling to United for £50m or losing Eriksen for nothing, Levy will rightly choose the former. We cannot throw that money down the toilet.
