Transfers Summer 2019 transfer thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Says a lot to me that there are fuckers here that think of last year as the year we signed no one. I think of it as the year we reached the champions league final.

I reckon Poch is thinking of the diamond. I know we don’t like what we’ve seen so far but if you now look at Ndombele and Lo Celso being signed I think he has this in mind

Talk every day maybe, but for hours on an evening I doubt.
Other teams have signed players who were on holiday due to returning later after summer tournaments. What makes us not as important as those clubs..
Also I am led to believe sess is still injured but we have somehow signed him, we all know this is just how levy works. It happens all the time, so he can get what he wants from a deal and always feel like he won, and not get a deal done that best suits the team and manager.....or is he the head coach again now lmao

not every evening obviously, but Poch routinely mentions that they dine together

Probably our strongest four-at-the-back line-up.

If you look at the subs (and assuming Eriksen stays)

Eriksen, Sissoko, Lamela, Lucas, Sessegnon, Skipp, Dier, Davies

A bit different from the dark days last winter when our impact sub was Davies and we had Rose wandering around in midfield.

We need to hang onto Eriksen! If we do, it's as good a TW as 2018 was awful/non existent/missed opportunity and a good time to support our club.

We can look forward with great hope/expectation, avoid injuries and challenge Emirate/Scousers.

Very much so, strength in depth has gone through the roof whatever the negative bastards say. I do think if Alli is ever to get back to his best the space behind the strikers is where that'll be - but with two passing CMs who can drive he would flourish again I think.

Have you told Poch? We are going nowhere under his current tactics. Bring back AVB!
Love Poch.

Last season was a shite-show tactically, though.

CL run papered over a lot of nonsense.

Good window, solid squad now for all comps (barring a proper RB).

He's developed an unpleasant habit of hobbling himself with shape and selections.

Will be much more at ease once I'm confident he's not gonna be bone-headed and accepts and accommodates limits of our flank play.
