LOL

London is a filthy overhyped sh!th0le!!! I lived there for 40 years and moved to Australia.

I lived in a very affluent part of Fulham in West London. Houses cost 1.5m upwards. Still had drug dealers at the end of the road on a daily basis, fights on the street, bikes stolen, cars vandalized and in my final year there were 11 stabbings within 500m. Police never remotely interested.

And most of all, the weather is rubbish! Work 46 weeks a year, preying for those 2 weeks somewhere nice to roll around soon.

Sorry, off topic...... OK; Lets transfer the club to Australia!

Ah...you're one of those.

P.S an Aussie taking the moral high ground on racism....heard it all now.

I understand that you may have not liked it, but sorry to break it to you that your opinion isn’t necessarily a universal truth.

What the fuck.
Cost of living is a joke in Aus. Plenty of drug and alcohol related issues, sun that gives you skin cancer and cataracts, debilitating heat all summer, twats in utes and Holdens everywhere, a nation that actually takes less holiday days than most, imported over priced shit including food, water that tastes like fish due to desalination, slow as fuck roads, massively racist even though the main inhabitants now are immigrants, kids growing up so distant from the idea of travelling that they go fucking bat shit crazy when they do get the opportunity, dog shit build quality of properties, the requirement for a decent education dwindling due to FIFO work being so ridiculously lucrative that there's no need to aspire beyond that, but what really made me come back to Europe was the horrific lack of culture, art, physical history and such.
I do agree with the filth comment though.

Each to their own, but it does my head in when either side of the argument put forward such a biased view as though it's to convince themselves they made the right choice and are sticking with it.

As for London not being an attractive place to live for footballers - you are very wrong. Given you lived there for 40 years, you are clearly at a very different end of the spectrum of what you're looking for in life.
Perhaps sounding presumptuous, but pushing retirement age past times differ massively from those of millionaire footballers in their 20s.

Oh, and they cheat at cricket. Cunts.

Yes but either way it doesn't kick in until next summer so the purchase price ( i think £45m ) will show up on next years totals and only the loan fee on this.

That’s why this summers is showing up at £105m odd and not £150m

Point I am making is that the majority of transfer payments are NOT made up front but over the course of the contract,

So in each case its the 'obligation to pay' which is recorded in a 'transfer fee' not the actual payment itself - so unless you are certain Spurs will miss out on CL qualification, we have an obligation to pay the final £45m or so and this our total obligations this TW were £150m .

Anyway, however you want to think of it, very few at the start of the TW were expecting a spend of over £100m.

I was being a bit pedantic as obviously all transfer are normally spread over the contract of the player but on this occasion we all know behind the scenes Lo Celso has cost us £55m but due to the way they constructed the deal he’ll only go down as a £40m buy for us as you won’t add the loan fee.

It’s the superficial way of looking at things granted but when you look at sky sports next summer you’ll see Lo Celso on the buy list.

As I put in my original comment I’m super happy with the summer window although it was something I expected after last summer and the warnings poch has been putting out.

I think PSG structured their deal to sign Mbape in a similar way, to avoid FFP probably.

Yeah, because there are no drugs no fights and a bike has never been stolen in Australia..
Stop talking out your arse and trying to justify your emigration.
