Don't see the point in selling Serge as we'll only have one RB again. If Doherty is injured or doesn't work out we'll be in the shit

That's why signing Kim Min Jae might be a real option. I read he can play centre half and as a right back if needed. Strong, good on the ball, plenty of energy to get up and down the field. Foyth out Min Jae in might be the plan

It really all depends.
As I said, things can change. And if he signs a five year contract, it’s not really up to him.
Or we can fleece whoever wants him.

It’s all part of the game, I’m not sure you can avoid it.
We just signed an Woolwich fan, players do what’s best for them at any given moment in time.

If DeBruyne agreed to join but was adamant on just a one year rolling contract, would you say no thanks?
Depends on wages and the fee involved is wages would have to come down and he fee would have to be low. If it was an Ndombele fee then I would say no, he's been consistent for city but what if he had a bad season or was injured for most of it? His value would come down.

Very impressed, we needed a midfielder who can take control and win the ball, we got a 25 year old Prem captain with the most interceptions

We needed a wingback that can score & assist as well as no give away ridiculous goals, we got he 2nd most creative Rightback in the Prem

These 2 along with Hart will completely change the locker room, they are men that will leave everything on the field

Mourinho will no longer be disturbed with the lack of effort

Combined £30mil is great business

So what if a player has aspirations of playing for one, if not the biggest clubs on the planet. A sportsman wants to compete at the highest level and win things it’s the nature of the beast and should be driving them forward every day. Doesn’t mean if they buy into a project along the way they won’t hang around or be content.

It’s a young player showing their desire and confidence, nothing more

And all we need now is a backup striker who can fill in for Kane , welcome to Tottenham Troy deeny!
2 out of 3 ain’t bad!

If we sign Skriniar and a reasonable back up striker, I think the window will have been excellent.

Hojbjerg
Hart
Doherty
Skriniar
Back up striker - Wilson? Woods? A.N Other

I'm still a fan of Kim based on the scouting reports I read on him. He comes much cheaper than Skriniar and seems more versatile. I'd be happy with it.

It'd also mean more money for ST and another mid.

Toby/Dier/Sanchez are solid options at CB. And I think Doherty and Hojbjerg will take some pressure off of them. Kim could ease into his role.

There's also reports on Instagram that our interest in Kim never got beyond the enquiry stage so who knows what's going on?

No clue. I remember reading he had some issues with his club and they were not happy with him. Which would make me believe they'd be more likely to sell, but in fact that made them shut down all talks. So I don't know exactly what went on, but the links resurfaced the past couple days.

The issues with the club stemmed from Kim complaining about his CB partner and saying he was tired of having to cover for him. The club wasn’t happy with him going public with that. It didn’t sound like either side was happy. He was then late returning to China following their break.
