They wanted Hoejberg.
Yes, but apparently we can write off Hojbjerg after one game while at the same time making excuses for a fat waste of wages who's been here for a year, because there's nothing wrong with that logic on the forum from some corners.

...and the reason Hojbjerg got booked for emptying Richarlison was because Ndombele gave the ball away cheaply again. Solid hit too, enjoyed that one.

Do you think he would provide any less than Sissoko provides for us?

I am not sure he will be anything great but at this point I would gladly take a young player like him for 10 million and sell the French International in Sissoko for whatever we could get for him.

He might not be great but I can't think he can be anymore useless than Sissoko is.
Sissoko is limited but provides a lot to us. He's not my favorite player but he gets picked for the world cup winners for a reason.

Lies.

Ndombele is a £60 million pound player who was wanted by all of Europe's best teams. That alone makes his performances elite level.

James Rodriguez signed for them for about £20m or whatever way they worked the transfer and he played 92 minutes after not playing a full game since February or something and looked quality.

We paid nearly £60m for Tanguy well over a year ago and he can't sprint for more than half an hour, has looked mostly poor, fat and uninterested and couldn't even pass the fucking thing simply today.

His transfer is dragging this club down as much as us not moving on all the shit that is inhabiting the squad.

It’s been said before but we definitely need a director of football and a proper scouting network. That cunt Hitchin isnt the man, we’ve all seen that on the documentary and he’s proved everyone right who said we need a change in the club. Until that happens and we identify some proper players, nothing will, change.

Here is the problem with the argument that "he gets picked for France."

That is great if he is awesome for France or fits in with what they are doing but when he constantly has shit performances for us, and I think they are undeniably shit, when does him being picked for France stop being relevant and what he actually does for us matter?

I hear it a lot from journalists who are talking about how poor he was but then say but he is picked for France so its not just fans. I just think that he has do more than get picked for France to justify his spot in our line-up whether on the bench or starting because based solely on his play for us he should never see the pitch for a Spurs team again, he can go be a full time France player if he is so good for them.

But can't with than Son, Ali, Lo Celso. Sissoko hey?

Considering that Sissko and Alli are poor passers of the ball it will be tougher than with the guys I listed.

I have also never said that PEH can't have success here.

I think if we surround him with players that are able to do the progressing for him and that he can outlet to he will look better.

The debate becomes if it is worth it for a team of our supposed level to have to play players that are that limited and don't offset it with being great in other areas.

And Doucoure. Richardilson are? Andre Gomes is also painfully average.

We don't have a system of play, it doesn't matter who the player is if you don't have that it is going to be a struggle.
