Nah.... He was a #8 that no-one here was particularly enamored with.... 10-15m-ish.

Brozovic is definitely more of a 6, but a decent footballing one who sometimes gets used in other midfield positions - and I think a few (including me) wouldn't have minded him at all, big upgrade on what we've had for the last three years in terms of 6/DM - Edit - to be clear though, I wouldn't want to swap for Ndombele, and every year Brozovic gets less appealing, two years ago we could have took him for his very reasonable release clause (circa 30-35m).

I have so many issues with this hear me out :

1) Antonio Conte plays a formation which requires very hard working CM'S unless he is going to play Eriksen's role a little further forward , Ndombele will not do better in a central midfield for Conte than Barella, Sensi, Vecino or Brozovic. Surely Conte's seen him play. So for me I don't see how Conte would actually want him.

2) The price being touted for him is £45m , isn't that only £5m more than Man city played for Ake . Ndombele on a long term contract being young and one of the hottest prospects and Nathan Ake a relegated player is valued at only £5m less. Bizarre.

3)Would Skriniar come to Tottenham? If not Skriniar who else could they trade , I highly doubt Levy will sanction trading a 23yr old for a 27yr old and 31 yr old (Brozovic and Perisic). Makes no sense at all

Regardless all there is interest and the way you see people speaking on twitter you'd think he'd already signed. I'm waiting to see other journalists takes before making my mind up but something doesn't feel right.

skrinier would come. he's getting the dybala treatment of lat year. they seem desperate to ship him out

He is slow AF he will be eaten alive in PL.

His playing style is similar to Rodri and Jorginho, players that haven't exactly been able to cop with the high tempo, aggressive nature of the premier league.

He's going to get constantly dispossessed in midfield.

I'd compare him more to a 27 yo Matic than Jorginho, which was a pretty decent animal, and suited Mourinho down to the ground. Brozavic is much better without the ball than Jorginho,

And lets not forget, Jorginho would be an upgrade on we've been watching, and his Chelsea finished above us and won the Europa. As would Rodri.

That dude is here for life, my dear fellow.

I hope not - aside from his injury record which means hes rarely fit when we need him to cover for other players, fact is that he is 28 as is Moura and Son.

So we need to move one of them on soon to prevent us having to find 3 AM's at the same time - so Lamela's name should be top of that list to move on so as to give the incoming player time to find his feet.

Lamela is currently at best a bench option and has never fulfilled our hopes for him and after 7 seasons never will. Time to let him go back to Italian league (if they have the money) and let a new generation such as Eze take over.

I'm more hopeful of the second part of the story that Tottenham and Inter will do swaps

Read this morning Inter were interested in Sissoko

Sissoko for Brozovic would be a great deal for us, One can only hope.

Is anyone actually surprised with this hasbeen washed up manager? Like, everyone knew what we was getting into, the second we appointed Mourinho. A poisonous presence in the dressing room. Same guy who nearly destroyed Hazard's career at Chelsea. Same guy who tried to destroy Ronaldo and Ramos at RM. Same guy who wanted to swap Martial for Willian. Same guy who tried destroying Pogba at United. The list is endless, and yet people are somehow surprised with the treatment Tanguy has been getting. A lot would say when things went south this season, Pochettino wasn't the answer; that may very well be true, but fuck Mourinho certainly ain't no fucking answer. I'd rather have Roberto Martinez or Rafa Benitez than this washed-up excuse of a manager.
