He's shite and not good enough for us .....apparently.

I understand concerns about defensive weakness (if nothing else, Aurier offers aerial ability) but he has the tools to become a really good RB.. and on balance would certainly improve us next season.

To be fair, judging on each of his performances since joining Southampton, KWP would too.

Lots of online chatter that the Aarons links are to force Ajax to accept less for Dest.

I think Aarons has real promise, young player of the year in the championship at 19, he's further ahead in his development than Walker was when we signed him. Not looked great second half of the season but Norwich have just collapsed.

Personally, if funds are limited, then I'd rather we didn't overpay for players.
Yes Airfixx Airfixx . Of course.

The threat of falling foul of FFP must be keeping you awake at night, mate.

I would be a lot more willing to bring in Aarons if he played on the left where we have a guy like Davies (who is far from ideal) who could split time with Aarons, if needed, and is there in case Aarons is a complete flop.

I do not think Aurier is that kind of player, in part because he doesn't seem like a guy that would be happy watching his replacement come in and play over him and he would be a terrible player to insert in the line-up as the "safe" option.

I hope the RB we bring in is more established and ready to go from day 1 than Aarons appears. I am also concerned that as the season went on Aarons looked worse. Maybe it was the losing that got to him (although not sure that says much about him) but my concern is that he started to struggle more as teams saw more of him and were able to take advantage.

I think we are going to have to take some chances on young, cheaper guys hoping they can improve since we have so many holes and so little money but I think RB is a spot we should target a more established guy like a Castagne or the RB from RB.

I think we should only be targeting players who are going straight into first team. No point squad fillers as Maureen based on last 9 games blatantly wont use them eg sess, ndombele before injury, even lamela who started first game is but part player. The faves will always come back in so no point by fillers.
