Maybe I'm missing something but why is everyone so much higher on Eze than Brooks? He's only a year younger, and Brooks has put up numbers in the Premier League. Seems a bit like recency bias, Eze looks great but Brooks has proven he can do it in the Prem

Not sure they are, but Eze's 2019-20 season was much better than Brooks'

Brooks is a small, slight 23 year old who has only managed 82 career games of senior football and still seems to be coming back from a bad ankle injury that ended up needing a second surgery.

He looks a brilliant player, but so did Jack Wilshere.

For Eze, 14 goals and 8 assists as a 21 year old creative midfielder in the Championship kinda speaks for itself. Plus we could gazump West Ham, what's not to like?

But at least you understand, now, how a yearly business profit / loss is calculated?

Come back to me when you understand what the word "subsequent" means, you tool.

I said profit was "subsequently" invested.

You do realise Wenger was the Woolwich manager. Not the club's CEO?

What's that got to do with anything? Fuck all, that's what.

Same old evasive shit from you, John.

- How much is in the magic pot of un-spent money?
- How much do you think is a reasonable trf kitty for this summer?

You won't answer, Mr "Not One Brick".

Callum Wilson won't be interested joining us imo. He will want to be first choice and play every week. I see Villa being an option for him

Tottenham are edging closer to a deal to sign Denmark midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, 24, from Southampton. Spurs have offered £15m, although the Saints value the player at £25m. (Sky Sports)

£15m plus Dele would be a good deal IMO.

Can't speak for everyone but I would think the main reasons to prefer Eze over Brooks would be:

1. Age- only a year but Eze is younger
2. Injury- Brooks has missed a lot of time
3. Price- Eze seems to be much cheaper

As well availability Eze clearly seems available and while it makes sense for Brooks to be available as well his name has not been out there as much and players who are talked about in the media often then get talked about more by fans.

Just from what I've seen of both players I think Eze has a much higher ceiling. He's a really strong dribbler, has an eye for a through ball, good strike, good size and less injury history. Also possibly cheaper.
