Transfers Summer 2020 Transfer Thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I just don’t see this lazy player everyone wants to talk about. Sure, show me the clip of him chasing that player, but then I could show you the through balls and the breaking of the press and so forth.

From what I have seen of Ndombele in a spurs shirt is a small sample size, but he is what I would build my team around. Ozil, for all his bullshit, is similar in terms of keeping him in a team, because he is that good. Tanguy has limitations, but for me, his strengths are truly something you would want to create in FIFA career mode.

Ozil's a flat-track bully and a primadonna.... I wouldn't build shit around him.

Let's all hope your comparison is thoroughly off-piste.

Mourinho didn't sell Salah, and being fair with it, he was never as good as Willian and Hazard at the time he was at Chelsea. De Bruyne was also very young. He was right to sell Lukaku.

Mourinho gets the blame for Pogba, but it's not like it's been plain sailing for OGS either. Pogba does what he wants and OGS just gives in, Mourinho isn't like that.
Eh? OGS has Pogba playing in a double pivot. Pogba is doing a disciplined double pivot job.
The difference is Bruno instead of Herrera and McTomminay .

If ole was so weak he wouldn’t have (Rightly) made Sanchez and Lukaku available for transfer

So it seems that Conte (who is incredibly demanding) wants N’Dombele and he was just fine with Pogba too. Funnily enough, Deschamps is fine with Pogba, OGS is Fine with Pogba. Seems that there’s one guy who was the odd one out.... the same guy who got rid of Salah & De Bruyne and wanted to bomb out Martial and never rated Rashford.

Salah: Done to death.... He didn't.
Rashford: He didn't see him as a #9; where'd you conjure the rest from?

Eh? ....That doesn't require handling or standing up to a player; that's just him needing to say "Ed.... Sell these 2 please".

Lukaku wanted out, he forced that move to Inter. As for Sanchez, I agree.

Pogba has looked good in some games, but then watch him vs Southampton and West Ham.. Dreadful.

Pogba only strolled back into the side once Bruno showed up. Ole's first year and a half as manager had the running storyline of Pogba refusing to play or feigning injury for large parts of it in an attempt to force a move out to either Juventus or Real Madrid.

So Skriniar and Brozovic for Ndombele and Sissoko. I'm ok-ish with that. Would love to see what a fresh Ndombele could do for us but I think Mourinho won't play him.

Maybe Jose wants rid of him as after a year people still cant spell his name correctly! :mourfacepalm:

Or it could be that you know, he was actually injured.

He initially injured his ankle, Ole rushed him back for a league cup game and the injury was made far worse (side note: ole is generally TERRIBLE at rotation/protecting his preferred players from injury/fatigue - United basically collapsed over the finish line this season, similar to last)

Bruno has been playing for 6 weeks prior to the shutdown and Pogba was still unavailable.

“strolled back in” Ole plays him because he is obviously a superior player to McTomminay and Fred!

nice to see that Sustained character assassination of *cough* players still works. There’s countless people who worked with Pogba who talk about his leadership and influence. He was clearly the one the the players looked up to in the World Cup, which they won.

Fucking Dinosaur I will never forgive him for driving Tanguy out of the club.

I have never looked forward to see the back of a Spurs manager before.

He is not driving Tangy out of the club. The player is lacking the balls to fight and make a success out of his move here.

The important question is, does Mou have belief in him?

The question is does Tangy have the will to fight to get into the team or has he simply decided to quit after one year.

Salah & DeBryne have spoken out against Jose have they?

Fill me in please; I wasn't aware if that.....
De Bruyne started two of the first four league games of the 2013-14 season, but soon fell out of favour with Mourinho and was dropped to the bench.

"Jose called me into his office in December, and it was probably the second big life-changing moment for me. He had some papers in front of him, and he said, 'One assist. Zero goals. Ten recoveries'," De Bruyne said.

"It took me a minute to understand what he was doing. Then he started reading the stats of the other attacking forwards - Willian, Oscar, Mata, Schürrle. And it's like - five goals, 10 assists, whatever.

"Jose was just kind of waiting for me to say something, and finally I said, 'But… some of these guys have played 15, 20 games. I've only played three. So it's going to be different, no?'

"It was so strange. I was completely honest. I said, 'I feel like the club doesn't really want me here. I want to play football. I'd rather you sell me.'"

The following month, De Bruyne joined Wolfsburg for £18m.

The Salah thing is daft he looked very average back then no one has a crystal ball.

It seems no-one is taking into consideration that just maybe Tangy hasn't adopted to England and the PL. Maybe it's simply not for him and it's showing in his commitment to fighting for his place. I can't even remember if he has given an interview during the year he has been here. There is no involvement, no interest in integrating and just giving something back to the fans. How can anyone compare his situation with that of Sonny who yes had a difficult first year on the pitch but he was giving a lot back off it and showing he was happy to be in England and at Spurs. I don't see that at all with Tangy

I have so many issues with this hear me out :

3)Would Skriniar come to Tottenham? If not Skriniar who else could they trade , I highly doubt Levy will sanction trading a 23yr old for a 27yr old and 31 yr old (Brozovic and Perisic). Makes no sense at all

I just want to point out that you get the ages wrong and it pisses me off for some reason. Skriniar is only 25 and it's really all right and Brozovic is 27. Still young age.

So he asked to be sold?
