I wonder how Kane genuinely feels about this? Excited, thinking the club's being ambitious?

Do you think a little bit of him will feel he's not the top dog anymore and not like it?

I dont think Kane is Like Messi in the fact he needs to be the top dog, i think he will be happy the club is showing some ambition, its a great move by Levy as well though as now Bale will be in Kanes ear saying how shit Madrid was and that he wishes he stayed at spurs! :levylol:

If he feels that way, then he’s not the true pro I think he is. If he wants to win things and see the club show ambition, there it is. Gareth Bale. I genuinely think he will be as excited as anyone.

I wondered this, but just have to look at his level of professionalism over the years to see that he will be very happy and will look forward to Bale providing him with even more glory.

Main thing I worry about is having 4/5 greedy forwards. Stevie is the only one who seems to create as much as score. Not sure the assists supports that, but it's the way I'm seeing it.

Doesn't look like N'dombele is going to be sold (which I'm happy about) but I'm confused how we are generating the cash for all this.
It's not like we are going on a Chelsea or City spending spree is it. Real are paying more than half Bales wages, he is on loan so no transfer fee, Reggie is probably costing around 25 mill. We have spent fuck all net this summer so I don't see why anyone is worrying where all the money is coming from:sonhmm:

I can’t find the finishing rhyming couplet to this one. Can anyone help?

Gareth Bale went off to Spain,
Now he’s back at White Hart Lane,
He loves his golf and he hates Madrid,
But the thing he likes most ...

As I said a zillion pages ago, the reason this is finally happening now is that Zidane's managerial tenure is now more valuable and more important to Real Madrid than the (now shortened) remaining length of Bale's contract.

In all previous windows the idea was that Bale the asset would outlast Zidane the devaluer of that asset. No longer true, so time to pull the ripcord.

It wasn't necessarily going to be us, but it seemed increasingly clear this time was different on Madrid's end.
