I must have missed where he said we need a striker in that. He is taking about a squad and having cover.

If our forward options of Kane, Son and Bale are not deemed enough then something is a miss.

Again the priority is a CB - Vertonghen is gone, Dier and Sanchez are average and Toby is on the wane. And yet the supporters constantly talk about a reserve striker being the priority and stating the board have failed by not being one in.

The priority was alway the defence this window and a DM. It’s almost as if some didn’t bother watching us last year
I forgot to paste it.
Asked if he still needed a striker, Mourinho said: "Yes.

Of course we need a back-up striker, Son and Bale are oval pegs in round holes and if we keep flogging Harry, his body will not last and it may very well cost us things like a Top 4 place etc.

We look far worse a side without a natural central striker, personally I'd prefer a target man type to give us more options, especially with a left peg like Bale's coming into the side.

you DON’T play Kane, Son and Bale together. At least not very often, maybe for the biggest games. You play 2 out of 3 or even 1 of 3 at times so they can get a rest. That’s why we’ve got players like Bergwijn, Lamela, Moura and Dele (if he’s not sold). To cover those winger positions so Bale and Son can step in at striker when necessary. Why are we carrying so many wingers otherwise?
Pack up and leave.

Why do Liverpool play Salah, Mane and Firmino together every game possible? Because they are their best players.

Two weeks left and no striker, that just shows you how they lack any plan, They are just looking for something to come along that might be cheap. Shit planning!
Be honest if we sign Milik you will complain about the player we signed, and then you will complain about a CB.
Then if we sign Skriniar, you will complain that had we done it earlier we might have beaten Everton......and why haven’t we sold “insert any player you like”.

You’ll never be happy.

If new owners had come in May and this was their first window, you’d be drowning in your own jizz

And yes I want a striker but I’m going to cut the club some slack seeing as it’s spent the best part of he last month doing a deal for Bale and Reguilon, and before that it was doing deals for Hojberg and Doherty.

Two weeks left and we are clearly talking.
Just because twitter mentioned 4000 players doesn’t mean Spurs don’t have a plan.

I don't really know enough about Milik, someone said something about dodgy knees so that doesn't sound promising.

I want players in early just like other past managers wanted.

Win trophies, sort out recruitment I'm happy.

And he also said he needs 2 players in every position.

It is not February anyone - Kane and Son are no longer injured move on.

We have plenty of options with our forwards. It’s bizarre that none of this concern is being applied to the CB. One of the clubs best ever CB has gone and the rest leave a lot to be desired but the screams are for a reserve striker?!

But he says he wants another striker, so what do you suggest Levy does?
