We have an option? We were good at 3+2 for a whileIts the last year of his contract so guess thats him done here. Younger players normally sign a new contact before a loan.

Well, going by our version of the Nike story, it's 117 pounds for the player version of the jersey which is about 138 euros. He's probably inflating that by adding badges or something (unless it's more expensive in other countries).
So there's a bit of fibbing going on already as I doubt most would opt for the premium version. Additionally, I don't believe for a second they'll sell 10 million.
Edit: oh, and then you have to remember that the club only gets a small slice of the shirt sales with Nike making the vast majority of it (hence why clubs get paid handsomely up front for shirt deals).
Gotta say, he is mercurial Aurier, flitting from the sublime to the ridiculous. But he seems like a really good laugh and positive spirit around the team.
Definitely not a virgin! If you google this Veronica bird you'll see her mingling with players, including Messi.
Not a virgin in his mums bedroom posting under made up names.
Great talent but not very grown up. His appearances in The Mourinho Show were embarrassing. Favourite chocolate bars......! He needs to understand that he can be a great player but he need to learn how to think..He thinks football is showbiz. What a waste if he doesn't realise his potential. It's all in his hands.I agree. He was great (although had some limitations) when he was young, wild and free. I think multiple things happened to "break" him:
1. Overexposure. I remember him and Dier getting a lot of attention when they were still young and had just broken through. It probably became too much. Some clubs are vary with exposing the young, they tend to try to protect them to prevent the attention from becoming too much.
2. Tactical Discipline. I am guessing our management wanted him to become more tactically disciplined. He was not raised in a big academy, came through at MK Dons, so was likely less "schooled" than those growing up at Spurs or other top clubs. He played like he was playing for fun with friends, and produced some incredible moments of magic. I think he struggled to fit into the mould, and that it stifled his creative side, which was what made him look the most brilliant, and which was what made him happy out there.
3. Avoiding trouble. As you say, he got nice. I myself was a bit of a hot head when I played the game. When I moved to a bigger club than my boyhood club (still at amateur level though!), I tried to become less of a cunt. This left me with less aggression, less desire to win, etc, and had pretty much made me even more shit as a footballer. The same seems to have happened to Dele.
4. Lost confidence. When he first came to Spurs, he was brimming with confidence and felt he could do anything. As the effects of the above started to set in, his confidence eventually shattered, which furthered his decline.
5. Lost interest. As a result of the above, football simply became less fun. A player like Dele, a player who needs to PLAY football, needs to have fun to be great.
6. No support. When his problems became apparent, pundits and fans stopped the praising and instead gave him shit. This made the confidence worse, and the loss of interest worse.
Can he get back to what he was? He has the same ability, I am sure, but being a great football requires the head to be just right. I think it would be damn near impossible to get his mentality back to where he was. He is no longer 20 years old.
This has been shown to be a myth, going back to when Beckham signed for Madrid.Well, going by our version of the Nike story, it's 117 pounds for the player version of the jersey which is about 138 euros. He looks like Inspector Fowler when he plays the "judge" wearing a mop on his head. For me its clear Dele lost focus of on the pitch
Lots of lovely new tattoos and a new hairstyle and a big social life but forgot to actually perform on the pitch
Anyway he seems to have found his focus again. Wish he'd go back to looking like 16/17 Dele though.![]()

So he's like Bez was in the Happy Mondays?
No real talent but a bit of a laugh.

Do players not earn any kind of royalties on shirt sales with their names on too?
Perhaps not all, but I would be shocked if the worlds biggest named players didn't have something in their contracts to cover their personal name being printed and sold for profit.
Ok it's small time, but when I used to be quite involved in the skateboarding scene, shoe companies would sponsor professionals with their own signature model. There would be an expected sales quota with a basic salary, then any sales above that amount would basically give a few dollars per sale to the skater.
As an absolute guess, if a shirt sells for £100 I would expect £70 to Nike, £20 to club if sold through their own store, less if sold from a Nike store, than £10 to the player or something like that - which allows Nike to comfortably cover their £0.50 cost of materials & £2 shipping/handling.
But then what if Mike Ashley sells the shirt, cheaper than club stores? He must be buying them at £55~ to sell for £80.. So of that £55, surely Nike will get at least £40 leaving the club £15 or something?
Sorry it's all a bit off transfer topic.. I have always been curious about these arrangements & wonder if anyone actually knows?
Honestly not sure. I think it may depend on the country it's in because players can have image rights etc, or have someone else own them (something that has been a sticking point in transfers before, I believe). Unless I'm mistaken, I didn't think players get any money whatsoever from shirt sales.Do players not earn any kind of royalties on shirt sales with their names on too?

Pau Torres would get destroyed in the Prem, weak as fuck in the tackle and in the air
Meh
Always appeared to be jawing his face off on coke and or pills to me.Lives at my mates on/off, Bez. He's the pied piper to the yoof, saw him couple of times live and all the kids wanted to hang with him, not Shaun.
He's a top guy apparently.
in the last few months he's played the Goons, United and Chelsea and looked pretty comfortable in all of those games and went unbeaten.Pau Torres would get destroyed in the Prem, weak as fuck in the tackle and in the air
