Where did I say he had amazing abilities or that I was so sure of them?

Again you need to strawman to try and get your point across.
You seem so sure he is an upgrade on Rodon. The logical conclusion is that you have analysed him over many hours of game footage.

So I ask again, how many of those 76 games have you watched? Or do you just want to admit now you've seen a 6 min Youtube compilation clip and we can end your suffering?

I'd prefer:
Lloris

Tomi - Romero - Rodon - Reguilon

Lo Celso PEH Ndombele

Deli-
Kane ----- Son
Still not sure on Dele but at least he's looked up for it in pre season. Seems like Nuno wants him to play deeper as part of the midfield three though - I doubt we see him as a 10.

I also like the idea of Skip DM with PEH and GLC/Ndombele as 8's. I think that might end up as our go to lineup especially in bigger games.

I have seen probably 6-10 Marseilles games he has played and many games for Croatia.

What is the requirement for number of games people have to have seen for players and I expect I will see you enforcing this policy with all posters on here. I have yet to see a single youtube clip of him.

I have not expressed that he is an amazing player, just my opinion, like countless others in this thread do every day, of that he is an upgrade on Rodon. But because you have a personal issue with me you try to come back with strawmen and made up lies.

Sorry that you can't handle that others have different views and can't get over your personal obsession with me. But lying and strawmen don't change facts.

Surely there's a compromise in this debate.

First of all, Tomiyasu being a defensive RB will be useful as it means Reguilon can bomb forward. He made 0 mistakes leading to shots, and 0 mistakes leading to goals last season if you look at the stats. So he's less error prone than Aurier. Doherty isn't in the conversation.

I agree we need a RW. Bergwijn and Lucas have issues with end product, we need someone to replace Bale's goals. Sadly I don't see any great RW in the market. Buendia would have been perfect.

We also need a CB to partner Romero. I think we can raise money from player sales (Sanchez, Dier, Winks, Sissoko, Doherty) to fund a decent option. I rate Rodon, but would prefer it if him and Tanganga were starting cup games initially.

Didn't ask for your life story.

Wow 10 whole games for Marseille and loads for Croatia.

I wonder how you find the time alongside all those Bologna, Atalanta, Sevilla, Fiorentina, Serbia, Argentina and Japan games you must haved watched. Your time management skills must be incredible!

The point is that Iggy-Babes insists that if we make the expected back 4 improvements; we're a worse team than last year.

.........Talkin' all dat jazz! :chicco:

He was awful when he was.

Things could have been handled better admittedly, BUT seeing what little he did provide; it's fake news to suggest he left a huge whole compared to last years performance levels.
I wasn’t perpetuating any fake news ….. why would you leap there ??!!

he wasn’t trusted by mourinho ….. it’s my view he could’ve been

he didn’t have the legs of moura or bergwijn but what he did have was assists and goals to his performances

I just want to know who this second CB is that's not Kounde or Lacroix that will come in and be an upgrade on everyone else and will not cost 50m.

By most reports Tomiyasu spent more time playing CB than RB for Bologna the past few years and has been playing as CB in the Olympics for Japan. With the combination of shifting to RB and switching leagues and levels of cups there is every reason to think Tomiyasu could have an adjustment period to Spurs, especially coming in late with no pre-season. Even if you like the tactic of having him staying back there is a big risk/question about his effectiveness as a first team RB.

I think having a RW that might not be better than Bergwijn/Lucas but has more goalscoring ability would likely be an improvement based on what we need, but I think we can get someone who is clearly better overall and a better goal threat.

You're not, but that what was being argued against when you stepped in. It wasn't an accusation directed AT you mate.

His impact on our first XI was minimal and thus can't be missed that much- that's all that's being disputed.

Why is Lacroix off the table? Because the Volkswagen guy said so? They rejected a bid of 20 million euros from Leipzig.. make that 30 million euros and their heads will turn.
There are also other possibilities. N'dicka or Badiashile? France have 100 promising young CBs.

Nope sorry it is Rodon or nothing.

Every other club out there can do better but we are stuck with Rodon or nothing else.

This is true, he will need time to adjust. Will have to stick Tanganga at RB in the meantime imo.

Who?

You just couldn't make this up, well unless you made it up.

Over on Satan Community:
Dragon:

We are close on Romero now but differing to some media posts no agreement has been reached But we are close on numbers and player wants the move

in a twist they want the Japanese lad as his replacement , we have an agreement in place for the boy and not willing to let Atlanta have him which slows the Romero deal down as they want a replacement in before letting him leaves

Who?

Bailey would be an upgrade on them, but not my favorite option. I still like Periera especially if we are going with Tomiyasu/Tanganga as a safe FB. Sabitzer, although not my ideal, would be an upgrade at RW. Thuram for me is a much bigger threat to score and could pay there with previous links to us.
