Dane is like 16. He won't count towards it until the year he turns 22 I believe.
I'd prefer a pacy CF that loves exploiting spaces behind the back line, that would make us much more dynamic and unpredictable on the final 3rd. Love Harry and for all his brilliance that was one thing he could never offer us.
From what I've seen Daka seems to have quite a bit of potential. Anyone more knowledgeable than me know whether there's true potential behind the hype?

Taking a punt on someone like Daka makes a lot of sense to me even if Kane doesn't leave. Young insurance policy essentially for when Kane does inevitably leave. If Kane fucks off, Daka and someone like an Ings to split the role could work. Not saying Ings is the guy, but someone with experience to bang em in.
If we are selling Kane then the only like for like replacement we should be considering for him is Haaland, that's what a big club with eyes on real success would do.
He has a £75M release, if we get £140M for Kane or even £120M that leaves us with plenty of money to buy a few more players along with what should be a healthy net spend on top of that (notice I said SHOULD because I know we will penny pinch again for sure, plus our recruitment is so shit I doubt we know how to buy players to improve us anyway.)
It won't happen though because of wages and that's the issue with these owners, claim they want to "challenge for honours" but don't want to fucking do what it takes to accomplish winning them.
