Even if you’re the best in the world, you can’t not turn up for workMaybe you need to be one of the best in the world at what you do, which you may well be for all I know.

He shouldn’t have signed the contract

Totally agreed with this.
I guess it is some weird kind of coping mechanism but on some weird level I'd be open to see Kane sold for 160 mEUR. He is obviously best striker I've seen to play for Spurs. He is world class and has ability to read and influence the game on another level to others.
But people focus too much on Harry Kane situation and too little on Tottenham Hotspur situation. If player wants to go we have to make sure he leaves on terms which is acceptable for us + we have to act wisely in replacing him.
This is not realistic. There are are very few clubs that don't sometimes have to sell their best players. Utd had to sell Ronaldo at his peak. Liverpool sold Suarez and Coutinho etc.Totally agreed with this.

CE decided to protect himself and just go through the motions. If kane does the same it’s not worth having him on the field. The gamble is you bend over to player power or pressure from other clubs and lose everything. Then you're just a bitch players/clubs know they can have their way with.
That's far more costly than a depreciating £100m asset.
And let's be honest, as I'm sure Modric and Berbatov have been mentioned - bar some sulking at the start players get on with playing. Even if their motivation is to earn a move away.
I don't see any reason to expect less from Kane
Apparently Zouma doesn't want to move in the opposite direction, nor do Sevilla agree on his valuation. And Sevilla don't want any of the other Chelsea players offered. Chelsea think Sevilla value Kounde too highly, 70m or so. I'm sure it'll get done but I don't think it's a done deal yet.
Not seeing that anywhere?
Im the ITK
Soon done deal, Here we go
I've heard his form can be a bit up and down.
Have you got a source Arcy?
Some may say that it is apples and oranges, but Aurier has gotten all kinds of abuse during his time here and has reportedly wanted out for 2 summers. Still clocks in to work every day and plays to the best of his abilities. He even played a game 2-3 days after his brother was murdered.Even if you’re the best in the world, you can’t not turn up for work

You’re Levy aren’t you?
This Kounde talk is just SpursCommunity nonsense, but I disagree with your point. Mobility and ball-playing ability provide you more positive over the course of a season than struggling with the odd long ball against Chris Wood or Calvert Llewin. Romero in the top 1% for European CB's in areal duels last year and Kounde in the top 13%. Tomiyasu (if he's our RB) was top 1% for fullbacks and top 15% for CB's. Romero is marginally taller than Kounde's CB partner Diego Carlos, with whom he won the Europa League, and much stronger in defensive areal duels. If we do get Romero I wouldn't pair him with Kounde, Romero is just about 6ft1 & Kounde is 5ft10, in a back 3 maybe, but not as a pair in a back 4
Right I don’t want any more fucking tweets on how close the deal is.
Just get it announced.
