Grealish is special.
For midfielders, it’s not all about stats.

Prime Dele played in a different position to Grealish at Villa; he was further up the pitch.
Grealish is special.
He's a very nice player. And I definitely wish we'd bought him. And yes, they don't play the same position so its a bit apples and oranges. But on his day Dele can be truly special. Grealish is merely very good, and City will learn that.

I'm not saying we should accept £100m, but why can't we replace him with that money? Ings and Vlahović combined would cost less than that, cost less in salaries, and could arguably produce the same as Kane.

Man for man, HK is far above what we know either of those players to be.

The notion of replacing 1 player with 2 doesn't work in practice...... Afterall 10 + 2 isn't an option.

Its all about "new toys are shinier" is what its about. Dele has had some struggles recently, and yet he's still produced more efficiently than Grealish.

I don't have anything against Grealish. I wanted him a few summers ago at around what, £30M? But £100M you're having a fucking laugh.

Peak Dele > peak Grealish. And Dele is nearly a year younger. I'd back Dele to get back to good before I spent even £60M on fucking Grealish. Grealish is just Barkley Mk. II, he's gonna disappear at Citeh.

Grealish with one leg would be more useful than the Alli of the last few years. Yes, Grealish is over-priced. But City are getting a quality player that can go to another level.

So our 1st team should be something like: Lloris, Doherty, Dier, Sanchez, Rodon, Reguilon, Hojbjerg, Lo Celso, Skipp, Bergwijn, Son, Lucas. That's a pretty shite 1st eleven.
PS: Even playing with 12 that's a poor 1st eleven.

If this story is true...I am not saying he can't develop at Galatasaray but I find it a bit strange that they loan him out to a Turkish club rather than an English EPL club (or even a championship club), where he could get used to playing regularly in the EPL and get used to its "style".
Maybe I've got this wrong but my impression is Turkish clubs don't mind spending big on loans.
Probs a million+ English quids for the loan?
Wherever Tang goes as long as he starts every week that will help his development.
Like him.

Could someone give me a quick summary of who we’ve signed this summer and how shit/good our new signings are. I’ve switched off pretty much all matters Spurs related since the end of last season.
