We'd be crazy to release Romero for international duty given his current dubious injury status.

As for Aurier..... He's so far on the fringes he's M.I.A.

Gio will go. As will Dav.

As for your question; if we want quality players int. duty is just a cross one has to bear... Can't start spending money based on losing players for the odd extra game once in a while.
Yeah just something to be aware of in terms of having enough senior players in certain positions

Also Romero is in love with the national team like Kane. Doubt he would be happy not to get called up. WOuld be surprised if he stayed (would be good for us but idk)

Living dangerously tonight mate

You seem to have ignored this part:

"he lacked composure or the ability to make the right decision when it mattered."

Ultimately he lacks the ability to turn dangerous runs into goal-scoring opportunities on a vaguely consistent basis.
He made 4 key passes today, so clearly did make some right decisions. He lacks composure in front of goal when it comes to shooting, which is also true.

His ability to create goals is more than just his goals and assists though. If you draw in 2 defenders and beat them, before a simple pass to another attacker, they will be in way more space. That increases the percentage likelihood of a goal from that specific attack. Just because a benefit is difficult to directly measure, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Kane or no Kane; if you asked me who I'd prefer for 40m of Wolves recent attackers in that price-bracket(*): Jota, Neto, Traore........ Your boy would be bottom of my list... And that's before considering other clubs.
Well Jota is at Liverpool now so he is unobtainable. He plays LW regardless so not sure why you'd want him. Neto has had a major injury, and as we saw with Sane, may not come back to his best.
But even if Neto came back to his best, if it was a direct choice between Neto and Adama, that isn't even close. What Adama can do changes the complexion of games.

Like I said earlier..... Get back to me if he starts to play like today on a weekly basis.

It's just a simple illustration of how I'd rate him as a use of 40m.

I want a goal-scorer if we're gonna seek to upgrade our front 3.

If you don't... Touche, but the hard sell won't change that.

Okay fair, let's see how he does this season. 19/20 he was great but like the rest of Wolves had a quiet 20/21.

I want a goal-scorer if we're gonna seek to upgrade our front 3.
I don't think that's the only criteria though. If Spurs average more goals per game with Adama in our team than if we got in a goalscoring RW, the former option is better for our attack even though Adama has a lower proportion of the goals.

Ally Gold has said tonight in his Kane piece that Man City have only offered £75m plus £25m in add ons and that was back in June. They aren’t going to double their cash offer in the last week of the window and if they do there is no way we can accept it now as it’s too late to get replacements. Common sense says it’s probably over for Kane to move there. They just don’t seem to want to pay us enough to get him. And that’s before us even knowing if there is actually a price. Levy has always said he’s not for sale, which in my mind means there is no value we’d accept.

I think that the City ship has sailed. No way are playing old biscuit ankles today if you’re working on £150m for him this week. It’s way too risky to let that happen.
