Agreed, possibilities - Poch certain;y owes us for Ndombele, they have the cash and frankly the French league is slower so Ndombele could manage more 90 minutte matches there.

All true re Juve ...... but I think the reason they moved Ronaldo on is they could not afford his wages so not sure they want Ndombele's wages ........ but league again is much slower and Ndombele friendly !

Yeah, we both know he ends here Wednesday...

Ronaldo was on £900kpw.... Little bit of wiggle room there.

We're hit hard at CB, but it's a bit harsh to criticise a lack of depth there considering we have:

Dier / Dav / Romero / Rodon / Japh / Davies / CCV on the books.

Gio is a loss, but I guess we're about to see a lot of Bryan in the mix.... I'm also guessing we'll see Ndombele re-inserted to the ECL squad if he remains after the window (especially if we don't buy another CM this week).
If Ndombele is staying then hopefully the relationship with Nuno isn't too fractured. He gets a chance has some good performances that looks good for next years summer transfer window.

According to whom?

Impression I had was that they were open to it (hence prev. post).
This news I read on here a couple of times.

Feel as though being top of the table right now can either work in our favor as incentive to get some of these transfers over the line or back fire completely as Levy will say we’re already good enough. Realistically we are probably two players away from really being competitive for top 4 this year, given the way we have started. My hope is we are aware of the situation and bring in two who can hop right into the first team. Love that We have been going for youth but we need some proven players walking through the door, along with two more current players out.

48 hours…… In Paratici we must trust

Bit of context to what I say next; I thought Dembele was the best player we had since Gazza. Certainly IMO he was the magic ingredient to Poch's team. It fell apart when the player started to fall apart.

I think Traore has the most similar playing style to any player I've seen since Moose. Get him, forget any 18 year old mercenaries and mould him into a midfield nightmare.

Re. the missing players for internationals, if we sign a right-back, we could move Tanganga to CB alongside Dier for a couple of games. We might also have the option of Rodon, if he gets fit. Think we'd be ok against Palace with that, Chelsea might be different.

I genuinely think traore could be a world beater for us as an attacking rb. It wouldn't eat up any output assists/goals wise from the attacking players, he would still be able to take on and occupy 2/3 of opposition players and no one would be able to outrun him on the wing

This news I read on here a couple of times.

Most bits and bobs I've read suggest they're just jostling over price.....

As always, watch this space I s'pose.....
