I just wish I knew what the intended pattern of play was behind our signings.

If for future intention then okay but what style are we buying towards?

My concern is that you look at West Ham and they seem to be building with purpose.

Well that's not my fault it wasn't in their mate, take it up with Sky. Maybe they didn't think it was all that so didn't make the cut. But proves the point, if that was their best chance (I agree it was, possibly a header in the 1st 10mins as well???) that we are defending well, hard to play through, blocking shots and remaining compact with little spaces to play through.

It ALWAYS happens when a player's profile is beyond that of his teammates. Which is why it is better to sell, early and on your terms. Been saying it for sometime now.

last season rb and cb was our weak positions and we have addressed both positions.

Our back up goalie was Joe fucking Hart and now it's Golini

Ok Bale is a loss but that fraud piece of donkey piss Mourinho didn't use him nearly as much as he should have so it didn't even matter. Gil will prove to be an excellent signing imo.

We have Skipp replacing Sissoko and Sessegnon replacing Lamela
 
strikers- kane, son
attackers- son, lucas, bergwijn, dele, gil
cm- PEH, skipp, gio, ndombele (if he sorts himself out)
cb- romero, rodon, sanchez, dier, tanganga, davies
rb- emerson, tanganga, doherty
lb- reggie, davies, sessegnon
gk- lloris, gollini

thats not bad, probably a quality CB and a quality CM short, but as long as we dont get destroyed by injuries we are looking alright.
