Welcome Clément Lenglet

Great window. Doubt there over Lenglet but got to give him some leeway, especially after doubting Kulusevski when he arrived.

Real shame there's a dearth of attainable quality when it comes to LCB/RWB, I'm sure the club would've spent if the players were available.

Set piece coach, Perisic, Richarlison, Lenglet... gonna be nice when we start getting goals from corners and free kicks. Feel like we're always at a disadvantage vs Chelsea/Liverpool in particular due to their superiority in those areas.

You say that as if it's a bad thing

Except, as I've already proven to you we don't "end up with profit as usual".
It's a not a bad thing no, but he doesn't deserve a pat on the back for it. You credit the person doing the work and that's Paratici.
I'd be shocked if it happened, but there's still time for a big bid for Kane or Son to come in and we end up breaking even. I would be shocked if anyone bids and even more shocked if either left now tbh.
As for not making a profit - that's not down to Levy either. The money came from ENIC selling shares.

Ben Jacobs of CBS saying we're interested as well. Good player but don't really see it.. third choice LWB perhaps, with a view to on occasion using Perisic on the right or in the front three. Also better lwb options out there. He's a similar quality player to Emerson, a bit better in attack and a bit worse at passing in deep areas.

This will be a strange one if it happens.

Andy Robertson and Davies spend the majority of the game in the opponent’s half. Look at their assist numbers ffs. That’s what a wing back is, they bomb forward and dictate counter attacks. A full backs main job is to defend.
Technically not a wingback.

Liverpool play a four and both outside backs “act” like wingbacks. Because VVD is so fucking good and they have such a good press and Fabinho is so reliable (and such a good fouler) they get away with it.

Still, AR and TAA are actually full backs in tactical speak

Emerson is Modric in comparison to this guy. I rather keep Reguilon, despite that I think he needs to be moved on.

This guy is more erratic than Aurier, more clumsy than Emerson, and more random than Sissoko. He may have some better attacking stats, but if you have ever watched him, you would have a feeling that he fluked most of those: overhit crosses which ended up to players on opposite wing, poor shot that turning into a pass...

He's a trier, and likes to spam crosses. Throw enough and some may stick approach.
