You get the feeling with Kane it’s all about Conte, if he stays, is backed and happy then Kane stays if not he goes.

I get the feeling it's probably more the other way, Kane would probably go regardless of Conte's situation, depending on who was offering him a home, but I think if Kane goes, I could easily see Conte throwing a hissy fit (unless we bought him who he wanted to replace Kane - which I doubt we could).

My guess was the Darwin Nunez would cost around £50m+ but it looks as if I was wrong

Tottenham 'will have to pay at least £69m for Darwin Nunez this summer', with Portuguese giants Benfica 'ready to slash his enormous £127m release clause' amid interest from Woolwich and West Ham

Tottenham will reportedly have to break their transfer record to sign Benfica star Darwin Nunez should the club let Harry Kane leave in the summer.

Spurs will be in the market for a replacement if their talismanic striker, who has emerged as a prime target for Manchester United, departs the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

But Kane's potential successor will not come cheap as Benfica have slapped a price tag of at least £69million on Nunez, according to Portuguese newspaper O Jogo.

O Jogo reported the club are willing to slash his release clause of £127million to facilitate a deal for the 22-year-old Uruguayan - who has taken the Primeira Liga by storm, scoring 26 goals in 33 appearances for Benfica this season.

Super-agent Jorge Mendes is said to be scanning the market for centre-forwards that could replace Kane at Spurs - although he is acting on his own as he has not been told to do so by the Premier League club.

Nunez's current agent Edgardo Lasalvia, whose deal with the player expires in the summer, will meet Mendes in Europe this weekend to discuss a potential partnership, O Jogo said.

Lasalvia is thought to be keen for a quick deal as he would be entitled to 10 per cent of Nunez's transfer fee if he is sold before June.

Nunez, known for his penetrative passing, dribbling, finishing and long-range shooting, has caught the eye of several clubs following his superb campaign for Benfica.

Woolwich have reportedly made an approach for Nunez, while Newcastle and West Ham are also said to be interested.

Nunez has been a member of the Uruguay national team for two years and has been likened to compatriot and Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani.

I know we've been talking about this before but personally, I'd still like Spurs to go for Hickey...

Newcastle are 'one of several sides weighing up a move for Bologna left-back Aaron Hickey' following his rise to prominence in Italy and first two caps for Scotland... and £20m price-tag is 'not an issue' for St James' Park chiefs

  • Bologna's Aaron Hickey is said to be attracting interest from a host of clubs
  • Newcastle are reportedly one of many teams eyeing a move for him this summer
  • Hickey, 19, earned his first two senior caps for Scotland over the past week
  • The teenager has featured regularly in Serie A for Bologna so far this season
  • Now Newcastle and several others are keen to prise him away from Italy
His first season was cut short by injury, but this term he has featured in 27 of Bologna's 29 league matches, racking up the highest number of minutes from a teenager in Europe's top five divisions.

As a result of his solid form in Italy, Hickey is already attracting attention from a number of top European sides ahead of the summer transfer window.

Romano posted on Twitter: 'Newcastle are interested in signing Bologna fullback Aaron Hickey. Potential fee £15-20m not an issue, he’s considered a top talent - but other clubs monitoring closely'.

Newcastle have money to burn following their £300m Saudi takeover last October, meaning a rumoured £20m price-tag on Hickey would not deter them from making a move.

The Scotland teenager, who has registered four goals and an assist for Bologna this season, was also on Celtic and Bayern Munich's radar before joining the Serie A outfit.

AC Milan are also believed to be interested in signing him as backup for current left-back Theo Hernandez.

At Newcastle, Hickey would likely serve as an understudy for Matt Targett, who only moved to St James' Park from Aston Villa back in January.

Hickey still has over two years remaining on his current deal at Bologna, whom he snubbed Bayern to join back in 2020 due to the family feel at the club.

He was brought off the bench in Scotland's friendlies against Poland and Austria over the past week, raising his stock even higher amid reported interest from elsewhere.

Yeh that’s fair. Although there have been quite a few media doing the rounds that Kane is quite linked to Conte, but having said that I could easily imagine Conte doing a runner if Kane leaves.

You know, I really wish Newcastle would just fuck off and know their place. Smelly cunts.

All the noise is Man United are gonna sign Kane.

Do these fucktarded cunts actually listen to themselves when they report this?

Kane wants to leave to win trophies.
Why would he leave for a team that has beaten us twice this season and STILL below us, will win nothing for the 5th year on a row, have no coach let alone one of the top 5 in the world, have a stadium their fans are embarrassed by and have fans that still think they matter.

If Man Ure get Ten Hag, he won't be wanting Kane. ETH prefers a more mobile forward line.
