Kane and Son are good.

Kulu is fine if all we want is 4th he is nowhere near good enough for a run at the top teams.

Only one of Bentancur or Skipp can start if we want a competitive MF. If both are starting that is not good enough.

Our CB's outside of Romero are dogshit.

I know Kulu is the flavour of the week and people want to badly overrate but he is mediocre at best. Better than what we had but nowhere close to the level of the players on the top teams.

I don't think he's the kind of player you could chuck in without Kane & Son and expect to be a main man, but together with them he's offering really solid balance. Some of the hype has been OTT but he's a technically capable, hard working player and completes the front 3 nicely. All 3 don't have to be world beaters, we've got 2 elite attacking players already.

'Nowhere close' to the level of the players on the top teams is harsh too. I mean sure he's not a Salah or Mahrez, but he's certainly not well below a Grealish. He's a good footballer, I had huge doubts about him but he's done well and improved us. The balance of our attacking play has benefitted hugely from his arrival.

I think he is a better fit with Kane and Son than what we had before them. I think Bale was better last year but he is a clear upgrade on Bergwijn/Moura.

As for the level of other players I don't think he is at the level of Mane, Salah, Firmino, Jota, Diaz at Liverpool. Pulisic, Ziyech, Hudson-Odoi at Chelsea Lukaku, Werner, Havertez if we are talking attacking players overall. And City has Sterling, Grealish, Silva, Mahrez.

He provides better balance than Bale. Tracks back more and is happier playing a support role. Not a better player by any means, but a superior fit.

I don’t think he’s below the level of players like Firmino, Grealish, Pulisic, CHO or Ziyech. Not the way they play currently anyhow. And someone like Diaz looks electric but it’s early days.

Finding someone else on Son or Kane level would’ve been almost impossible. But we found a guy who compliments them well and is intelligent in possession. Think we should all be happy with that.

I like Bale better with them because he can score on his own without those two or a goalkeeping error. Kulu is reliant 100% on Kane and Son, Bale is able to contribute on his own.

I disagree on the players from the other clubs especially Grealish, Ziyech and Pulisic.

Joe Gomez apparently wants to leave Liverpool this summer due to lack of playing time... He can play RB, RWB, LB, RCB, and LCB; of course, RWB and LCB are the priority spots for Spurs to fill this summer.
However, his injury record is a major concern and most likely the only reason Liverpool are ready to sell him. Had it not been for his injuries he would most probably have been a regular and, if he was for sale then, cost a lot.
He looks too injury-prone for Spurs to take the risk, but if he did remain "fairly" injury free he could be a huge bargain...

Joe Gomez: Great to see Joe Gomez back in the Liverpool line-up. Injuries have blighted his career but the way he was spraying those balls into the Watford goal area for Diogo Jota to attack was just mesmerising. Gomez needs a run of league games to get him back to the form that made him a certainty for international selection. There are very few English defenders who can play anywhere across the back four but Gomez can. He is a rare talent and on his day quite brilliant.

Did you know? Gomez's assist against Watford was his first in the Premier League since December 2017, against Everton at Anfield.

It's headlines like that that make one wonder whether some of those jornous actually know much about football at all...
Harrison and Traore play in different positions - one being left-footed and the other right-footed - so buying would not negate buying the other...
Not saying Spurs will buy him but I am kinda warming up to the idea of having Harrison as LWB.

Kalvin Phillips are one of the player I'd like to Spurs to sign this summer... but not for £60m! Not even £50m. If Villa are willing to pay £60m it smacks of panic, although I am sure he'll do a good job for them (should they sign him)...

Aston Villa are 'ready to fork out a club-record £60million for Kalvin Phillips' after Steven Gerrard pinpointed the Leeds star as his 'No 1 midfield target this summer'

  • Aston Villa boss Steven Gerrard is eyeing a move for Kalvin Phillips this summer
  • The Leeds and England midfielder has emerged as Gerrard's leading target
  • Villa are prepared to pay a club-record £60million to prise him away from Leeds
  • Gerrard is keen to strengthen in the middle of the park at the end of the season

Based on watching him play. He hasn’t had a single quality pass where his pass made the play versus Kane or Son making the play with their goal and him getting a stat as the last guy to touch the ball before they scored.
Let me get this straight..

Lucas Moura can score and assist in games and you still say he's had a bad game.

Kulusevski can score and assist and you say he's not good.

Lo Celso can literally not score AND assist and you still say he's the most creative player years later.

You make absolutely zero sense and literally nobody thinks you're being serious with your posts. I very much doubt you're even a spurs fan.

What an embarrassingly shit and incorrect post.

Especially your comment on Kulu who has been sensational for us.

The final nail in your coffin as far as anybody on here taking anything you have to say on football seriously.

I think i like the idea of Harrison as a left wing back as well.

Villa are dangerously close to their FFP limit though?
