Contract ends Jun 2024.

I know he said he intends to go back to Brazil at some point, so, this may be the last summer to actually sell him anywhere. I have a feeling he'd be more than happy to run his contract down and leave on a free, not that I would bear him any real grudge for doing so. Bottom line is he's taken a bit of a back seat for us now that Kulusevski has arrived, is still a good player that is fun to watch, and would be nice to see playing week in and out elsewhere.

We should all be discussing wingbacks. They are the most important positions in the modern game and what we have now are just not up to the job. Sess, Reg, Doherty, and Royal are just not good enough. If we are truly going to challenge City, Pool, and Chavs we need backs at the level of Walker, zinchenko, Cancelo, Arnold, Robertson, James, Chilwell.
That quality wing-backs are very important there is no question but I reckon the "old adage" regarding football still holds today true today: to be a top team one needs a quality "core" of goalkeeper, center-back, central midfielder and forward; and build the team around that core.
Despite of lacking top-quality wing-backs, Spurs are 4th... due to that "core" (of course, Spurs have now 3 quality forwards)

Yep you've guessed it, I've watched an 8 minute YouTube clip of Singo and now I'll be devastated if he's not ours next season. Pace, skill, strength, composure, can pass, tall.

he's absolutely pefect

Him running our RW along with Kulu would be amazing. He almost looks like a younger, better Adama Traore! We would absolutely steamroll most teams with physicality alone.

We need to stay away from players like Maddison, players like him are far too expensive because they are English and playing for PL clubs. If we are going to sign someone like him we should be signing them before they explode, not after. We should be looking at the best young players in the Championship (like Maddison, Bowen, Grealish etc were) and signing them for £20m not waiting until they take the PL by storm and then paying £60m for them.

We could get Lewis-Potter from Hull, Djed Spence from Boro and Madueke from PSV altogether for the same price we'd have to pay for Maddison/Lamptey etc.
Would Madueke come back?

I wish Paratici had listened to me last summer window and bought him then  I have always maintained that he was my 1st choice LCB (and got "emoji laughed" at for stating so.... poor me 😁)
My only problem with Gvardiol is that if he should join Spurs and live up to his "hype" either Man. City or Real M. will buy him off Spurs.
He would cost around £50-60m, and I could see PSG coming in for him, or even Chelski (if the takeover goes thru) or Man Utd.
Wealthier clubs wanting to buy our players is a healthy problem and one we’ve not suffered from for too many a year

I miss the days of having great players other clubs coveted

I love that thinking. Although you have to get lucky about making the step up. For every Grealish and Bowen is a Jack Clarke and Sessegnon

Chelsea have approached Woolwich's English academy forward Khayon Edwards over a potential summer transfer, with the 18-year-old yet to agree a professional deal with the Gunners. (Goal)

Spursidol Spursidol any good?

16 goals + 5 assists in 16 for U18s… get bidding, would love to grab an Academy jewel from them lot…

Read Leeds, Chelsea, Southampton and another all trying to get him… wouldnt need to move to come here…

Chelsea fan sadly.

What doesn't make sense?

Sanchez is a complete liability. Our starting centerback trio right now is Davies-Dier-Romero, and Davies is the weakest link in that chain. Sanchez doesn't have a place anywhere near our starting lineup, so sell him and replace him with a left-sided centerback that can possibly displace Davies and improve our depth. Kill two birds with one stone. Holding on to Sanchez makes absolutely zero sense given his performances and lack of growth.

Same thing with Winks. He's a passenger in midfield. He's a liability even as injury cover. Replace him with someone who can push Hojbjerg, and again you're improving our depth and possibly killing two birds with one stone.

If this doesn't make sense to you then you're a simpleton.

I agree with all of this. Apart from the name calling at the end
