Just think of him arriving back post with some of the chances Reguilon has missed.

Spoke to my daughters b/f who has a season ticket at Leeds Urd about Jack Harrison.

Convo went like this....

Me: Hearing we are interested in One of your players Jack Harrison

Daughters b/f: laughter, then why? He's not that good.....

Me: Apparantly Conte likes him, might make a decent w/b

Daughters b/f: He's not that good, well he can be really good occasionally, can be amazing, but most of the time he's poor, lacks confidence in himself, has all the skills to become a great player but rarely shows it, wouldn't be bothered if we signed him. ... another Jack Clarke ?

Well he was already on our radar last summer, so it wouldn't be right to consider it knee-jerk scouting.
It wasn't knee jerk but more Poch falling in love with a player and insisting "NO I WANT THAT ONE" like levy caving to his demands after the previous lack of transfers.

Poch was a fucking clown when it comes to transfers.

ANTONIO CONTE IS pushing Tottenham to make Dejan Kulusevski's loan move from Juventus permanent at the end of the season, sources have told ESPN.

Spurs signed the Sweden international in January on an initial 18-month deal worth €10 million with an option for a permanent transfer set at €30m.

Kulusevski has made a huge impact at Spurs having registered three goals and six assists in 11 Premier League appearances, forming a key part of Conte's three-man attack alongside Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min.

Conte has long been an admirer of the 21-year-old with sources telling ESPN he was keen on signing the winger during his Inter Milan tenure and the forward is said to have settled in quickly at the north London club.

Spurs are already committed to making centre-back Cristian Romero's loan move from Atalanta permanent at the end of the season for a fixed €55m fee and signing Kulusevski in addition would represent a significant outlay before pursuing fresh targets.

But ESPN sources claim Spurs have a mandatory obligation to sign Kulusevski on a permanent deal in 2023 for a higher price if he plays in 50% of Tottenham's Premier League games next season, which is almost certain assuming he stays clear of injury given his importance to the team, and Conte is keen to resolve any uncertainty over the player's situation.

Spurs have won seven of their last nine League games to move three points clear of Woolwich in the race to seal fourth place and the final Champions League qualification spot.

Speaking about Kulusevski last month, Conte said: "We are talking about an important prospect. Probably he could explode in the future. Also because I can see the intensity, the will and the desire to play.

"As everyday in training sessions, he is a type of player who has it in his mind the target to become a top player in his career and as his manager I try to help him to improve and believe. For sure is he an important prospect for the present and for the future."

I have only seen him a few times to be honest, but he has always looked full of energy and he has an eye for goal.
He has already showed a lot more than Jack Clarke ... how he got signed is still a mystery.

This would really hurt the Goons.

Barça has perfectly outlined the design of the new sports project with advanced operations and open negotiations. If everything stays as it is now, it is likely that the club will not have a left-handed center-back in the squad because the objective is to release Umtiti and Lenglet yes or yes.

Piqué, Eric García and Araujo would remain and the Danish Christensen, from Chelsea with the letter of freedom, will join. From there there would be no more movements although the market can provide interesting options. And one of them is that of Woolwich's central defender Gabriel, a player who, despite his youth, is already filmed in Europe and the coaches like him very much.

Manchester United and Tottenham will battle it out for the signature of Sam Johnstone in the summer, after the England goalkeeper allows his West Brom contract to run its course.

Johnstone - who's won three senior caps for England - is keen to get back into the Premier League, and has refused the offer of a new deal at the Hawthorns.

A number of other clubs, including Southampton, are also thought to be interested.

Steve Bruce admitted at the weekend that he expects Johnstone to leave at the end of the season, rather than stay and fight for promotion with Albion.

Spurs, meanwhile, were close to a deal for Johnstone in January, but decided not to pursue their interest as they prioritised other positions in the squad.

Antonio Conte is keen to have more competition for Hugo Lloris, who signed an improved contract in January at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Aston Villa have expressed interest in Germany centre-back Matthias Ginter, whose Borussia Monchengladbach contract expires at the end of the season. The 28-year-old has also been scouted by Juventus, Tottenham and West Ham. (Sky Sports)

Tottenham - who Eriksen played for between 2013 and 2020 - do hold an interest, though it is currently unclear whether the Dane is open to a reunion given the manner of his departure.

Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, Everton, Newcastle and West Ham are all looking into offering Eriksen a contract this summer along with Brentford's local rivals Fulham, who have all but sealed promotion back to the Premier League.

There is interest from abroad too, but it's understood that the 30-year-old wants to stay in England.

Eriksen is not thought to be seeking the six-figure wages he was on at Spurs and Inter but he does want his stature to be recognised in the next contract he signs.

I’d like us to go for Bazunu as the keeper over Johnstone. On loan at Pompey (from city) but already a really good keeper. Young agile plays internationally keeping Kelleher out of the team. Would be a great option

Conte would go berserk if that's our squad come the 1st of September.

20 years old.

GAVIN BAZUNU IS the subject of interest from a series of leading clubs throughout Europe and the Premier League, and could leave Manchester City on a permanent basis this summer if a suitable bid is received.

The Republic of Ireland international has two years left on his contract at the Etihad Stadium and will return for discussions about his future when his loan spell at Portsmouth finishes at the end of this month.

Bazunu is in the frame for the League One side’s player of the year award, having so far kept 16 clean sheets and made more passes (811) than any other goalkeeper in the division.

And his performances on the international stage – notably a penalty save from Cristiano Ronaldo and a stunning performance against Serbia in World Cup qualification – have also highlighted his ability further afield.
