Can't say Spence impressed in a very boring game today. (Although he had a well-taken "goal" disallowed for narrow offside).
Brennan set up Zinger and he missed an open goal. Later he had a good shot well saved.

As TomHotspur TomHotspur said, he'd be a great backup for Kane, but play a different role. I don't think he's worth 70m though.

Sums up football fans fickle as fuck Rudiger basically called Tottenham fans racist had a hissy fit stopped a game, though some thought it tactical at the time, more to the point there is actually no evidence so in theory he lied! even so still used the word racism against us we’ve a thread on the subject some would have him hung, drawn & quartered for even suggesting it , yet we will gladly see the cunt running about in a Tottenham shirt, really……yet Berbatov, Modric, & Eriksen all downed tools and were disowned by us for there antics but we’d have rudiger? Fuck me what Campbell did was all about ego and himself he didn’t stoop that low….he did but you get the jist.

He never even came close to even acknowledging that he might have misheard. Chelsea weaponised that incident against us in a BBC show.

Conte needs to have some sense knocked into him if he tries to go for this cunt. He won't be welcome in the dressing room either, be like inviting Lamela to Chelsea.

He can do a video saying he believes we will accept him. Goes to Chelsea playing for us, gets booed, accuses them of racism, they'll have no defence. It is a flawless plan.

The good news is there seem to be many great left footed options to choose from. Gvardiol, Bastoni, Schlotterbeck, Torres, and if not perhaps N’dicka or Botman.

Paratici should have no complaints given those array of choices. However class RWB choices are far more limited sadly

There’s a difference… some right footed players can still play on the left and pass the ball out to the left quickly. Whether their best foot is left or right, shouldn’t matter. Some players (most), definitely can’t do this and end up playing the ball inside and narrowing the pitch

I quite like him as a player but there's different levels to that.

Do I think he'd be a good signing for Brighton? Definitely. A good long-term signing for us? Possibly. Is he the answer to RWB in a team Conte will want challenging for the title? Nah.

I'm not convinced. Looks a bit clumsy and then factor in Boro were happy to loan him for a season and you have to ask why? If we had a top RWB as first choice he might be worth a punt as back up but i'm not sure he'd even replace Doherty, who whilst he has improved a lot, should still be upgraded. Spence isnt that man. Livramento is better and younger and whilst his star has fallen a bit over 18 months i'd still prefer Max Aarons over Spence. Then there is the guy at Torino who looks preferable as well.
