Transfers Summer 2022 Transfer Thread.

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Well, good guys in and everybody out that I wanted out.
Would have swapped Gil for Traore and it doesn't look like Bryan wants to be here.
Surprised there wasn't a surprise signing.
Good night, Vienna.

it was a pleasure lads

The money could be used for any transfer fees - nobody ever said it couldn't be used to sign players on loan !

NB I guess we also had a little bit of cash available from matchday income/commercial income/tv money from 2021;22 season so Romero's fee could have come rom that.

That's the fun we can have when we talk about cash being fungible !
How much of the £150 million is left?

Keep around:
Lloris
Reguilon (would take the 40m from Madrid though)
Dier
Romero
Hojbjerg
Skipp
Bentancur
Kulusevski
Bryan Gil
Son
Kane

Loan:
Tanganga

Inconsistent, poor attitude, or just not good enough:
Gollini
Sessegnon
Davies
Rodon
Sanchez
Emerson Royal
Doherty
Winks
Lo Celso
Ndombele
Bergwijn
Lucas

Look at that last list. Too many players we need to upgrade on... This is what Conte means when he says that this will take more than 1 transfer window
Looking back at this after the Wolves loss in February, I was definitely harsh on quite a few of them. Looks like I got my wish of Bryan Gil staying around over the summer though 😂

Probably as accurate as any list.

Obviously excludes agents fees and signing on fees which is probably another 10% on top, so the answer to your question might be 'not a lot'.

On the other hand the fees are likely to be payable over the length of players contract (often 5 years) so there is a lot of cash left in the bank matched by creditors payable over the next 4 years.

So enough cash left to commit to other player transfers, with those transfers actually paid from future cash flows.

I'm gonna go all "told you so" but I said a few times that we'd struggle to give some of our deadwood away when people were putting cloud9 numbers up.
People suggesting £15-£20m for Winks ffs.
I'll joined you in the "I told you so's"

People losing their shit at the thoughts of signing James and/or Traore.
:harrylol: :harrylol: :harrylol:

I told you all it weren't never going to happen.
:pochsmirk:

We've a proper manager now, along with a proper DoF.
