It improves squad depth but doesn't raise the level of the first XI that's why I wouldn't go for it.
Would rather find a freebie to fill out numbers (Eriksen) and then spend 50m+ on a top CM than spend 35m on McGinn.

Yeh, we already have the grunt and graft covered....

We need someone who can make the ball stick and break a press.... Then add Eriksen on a freebie as a utility man.

I'm convinced that the way fwd is:

[insert new main man]
Skipp
B'cur
PEH
+ Eriksen
+ Kulu

I don’t really see where either of them fit in our current set up? I’m fed up of us buying players because ‘ they’re available’ and represent an opportunity.

I’d rather we went and spent 40 million each on top class wing backs.

If Lucas and Bergwijn are sold we are going to need more depth, can’t just be Son, Kane and Kulu.

Dybala doesn't play RW so where would peeps want to play him in the best XI as per our current formation?

I think we need both. Have too many youngsters and you lack spine in big games. I think a big difference between us and Woolwich apart from the managers being a class apart is that we had experience PLers during tough games such as Lloris, Dier, PEH, Kane, Son.

I would love Bale and Eriksen back as they add so much up top. Then a few young and hungry prospects

Eriksen I would take tomorrow. And although Bale is still capable of moments, I wouldn't go there yet again.

Really not keen on Dybala with his injury record, and not really sure he fits into Spurs forward line either. Would think there are other more versatile forwards with a much better injury (ie less injuries) record,

More seriously, if - and it's a big if - we sign him, I would think, it would mean Conte is going 3-5-2. If Conte's previous statement that Kane is undropable then that would leave Dybala, Son and Kulu fighting for one place. Maaaaybe two against weaker teams, where it'll be closer to 3-4-1-2.

I agree that he doesn't really fit into our current formation, but firstly Conte isn't only known to play this one, and secondly not every signing is necessarily improving the first 11, which is fine imo.

When we sign another attacker I'd like it to be somebody younger, quicker and less injury prone than Dybala. Still, think it's a bit odd for people to think he wouldn't play effectively at RW in a 3-4-3.
