"Ok if that is the case fair enough but I haven’t seen anything official that we have made offer. As long as we are in the hunt"

"Official"???? - Clubs don't announce bids (or in this case wage offers), you plonker.

The games I saw him play most in was when Jose was manager, he seemed to be full of energy and running but mainly down dead ends. I haven't seen him dribble past many players, maybe our team just doesn't suit him. I mean I know Lucas has his faults but at least he goes past one or two defenders before he loses possession of the ball.

I think Lucas at least is on the same wavelength as Son & Kane in attack. For whatever reason Bergwijn just hasn't done the business here.

I wish him well but I'm glad he's leaving. I'm happy with giving Lucas a spot on the bench as a sort of high energy dribbling fast moving substitute that seems to gel in attack more often than not.

I agree with your evaluation of Bergwijn.

Unfortunately it is exactly the same with Moura.
If he would have gelled that well, I would have assumed he would have managed to assist more than 16 goals within 4 years at the club.

Harsh truth is that while he dribbles more than Bergwijn, he still don't have brain and execution what to do with the balls after dribbling and running.

Not good enough for 4th choice in attack if we want to win and achieve something.

I watched the Kane-Son combo goal from Spurs FB page and got thinking...

If we actually manage to sign someone like Bissouma as well. And we would be playing against defensive side...

Then lineup of -

----------Lloris------------
-Romero-Dier-Davies-
Doherty--------Perisic-
--------Bissouma-------
-Kulusevski---Eriksen-
-------Kane--Son-------

Would be some REAL entertainment, wouldn't it ?!?!
It would offer all - explosive pace of Perisic and Son.
Good and precise execution of long balls / crosses of Eriksen and Doherty.
Top level football-intelligence and game reading by Kulu and Harry.
And at the same time some no bullshit approach on the other end as well from Romero, Dier and Bissouma. Also Kulusevski and Eriksen are both disciplined enough to track back, and if they win ball at deeper position, they can play it forward quite smartly.
