I agree we could do better , but if he wants to see his contract out and go back to Brazil afterwards he is doing nothing wrong , as I said as long as he remains professional, he has never been a problem so I think it’s a given he stays committed

Yeah I agree. If we get Richarlison or whoever he is gonna end up being 5th choice. Not many other players will be happy with that, certainly no-one we can sign

Good post, that part in bold is the key to me.

I'm 90% behind this signing, obviously, but that remaining 10% is a concern that (a) his role in whatever it wasn't anything "shameful" as you say and the matter is resolved, at least as far as Bissouma is concerned and (b) a discomfort with the way some Spurs fans are to a greater or lesser degree applying double standards (be honest, if he were on the point of signing for Arsen*l, would you be so understanding?).

I also don't think people should discuss sub-judice matters on line, regardless of the individual concerned, but that's just me.

Just about every team in France might have a player like him. But they don't have a player as good at his job as he is. His profile may not be particularly special, but he's one of the most effective defensive midfielders I've seen in that age profile.

100%. So simple so not flashy but so effective.

He makes things look so easy and his movement is far from graceful so it’s easy to be deceived that he is ordinary but I think he is fantastic.
