For Contes system, that player really needs to be able to pass with his left. Otherwise, they won’t be able to find the same angles. See the first goal against man city (Kane’s through ball to Son), and that would never happen if the player playing the initial pass to Kane wasnt confident playing a semi risky left footed pass.

Only real caveat is its only really last season he started scoring lots of goals/assists - 22 goals 3 assists (before then 20/21 7 goals and 5 assists which is ok )

Two centrehalfs if Rodon and Sanchez are going to be sold.. would rather keep Rodon as cover given that Sanchez will bring in $$$ and one of Bastoni/Bremer to replace Davies as first choice back 3
