I never got this view of Lo Celso. He was definitely a light weight mentally, but on the pitch he was waay too aggressive. He loved a slide tackle and got away with quite a few nasty tackles. He tried to get on the ball and burst through the midfield, and took a lot of hard tackles in response. A stereotypical Argentinian player.Since when did Simeone like light-weight fair-weather pussys that save themselves for international duty?
I think people here are underrating him a lot. Maybe not a city/Liverpool quality player, but as a goal scoring no 8, he's pretty decent.
I think he'd be a better signing for us than them. We have the defensive foundation accomodate him, so that against the bus parkers, Bissouma can be like Rodri, shutting down counter attacks, and recycling possession, while Tielemans tries to find the key pass, take long range shots and get into the box. Not against the big boys/CL though.
For the gooners, I think he'd be a very very bad signing. They're an indisciplined side lacking defensive solidity, Partey gets injured every other week, and they already have Odegaard and bought that Porto kid's who also a defesively weak pass maestro. They need a PEH/Bentancur who can back up Partey or play with him when they want to defend a lead.
Rodri, Fernandinho are absolute cunts too. Stones and Dias are also a good bit bigger than Romero. Walker is also a physical monster. You always need physicality in this league to compete, almost every club who have dominated and won this league have had some real steel in their team, even the old Woolwich invincibles had players like Vieira, Lauren, Petit...some uber cunts who would refused to be bullied and stand up and be up for a fight if needed, don't really see that with them.
Obviously RE the physicality Man City are the exception but they are generally an outstanding team with an outstanding coach.

It's just that when he got to the final third he was hopeless at passing or shooting, and towards the end he could barely kick a ball.
I support them. But yeah I agree with you on the rest tbh.It won’t mate. Inter milan are impossible to deal with unless you throw stupid money at them like Chelsea/ Lukaku. Avoid inter milan. A complete waste of time.
Tbf to Falcao and Torres they were absolutely class at Atletico, Monaco and Liverpool for Torres.
True, I think he lost his nerve and became completely lost on the pitch. From Betis, to Argentina to Villareal, that's his style. For a short period (Jose said he didn't even know what to do with him, remember), but that trait has not been seen since.....
Apparently the gooners offered £51 million for him but got rejected and we're thinking it over...
Woolwich fans are so mentally ill. The hyping and dickriding they are doing for this Portuguese nobody who is worse than Winks is crazy.
Bit harsh. I like him but he doesn't fit Conte's mould of wing backs. Royal is very solid defensively.Would be absolutely brilliant to get him out the door early.
Seems a really good guy but without a doubt one of the worst right backs to ever play for the club. Bloke makes Alan Hutton genuinely look like the Scottish Cafu.

Okay quite simple as that, and i will try not making it too long.
Klopp has build this around 7 years. How can we compare it to Conte 6 months with us ?
And Klopp actually start improving his team by spending huge. And he got all the control in Liverpool, and has zero pressure on him for delivering or not.
Even if he finished 10th, he won't be touched. Conte will be sacked straight away.
But a bit of history lesson:
Van Diijk 85m.
Alisson 75m.
Keita 60m.
Fabinho 45m
Jota 45m
Salah 42m
Mane 42m
Chamberlain 38m
And you get the picture.
And now they spend around 100m. with the bonuses(which are easy to get) for that guy Nunez. They also paid around 60m with bonuses for Luiz Diaz.
He also got his team running his style for quite awhile, which obviously give them huge lead, unlike to changing managers in few years time.
Main reason for example why Chelsea are so so far behind in the league, yet spend big money constantly, and have a very strong squad.
Yeah Mane is gone now, but Salah will stay, and they have covers.
And whether we like it or not, Klopp is a world class coach, top 3 in the world for sure.
I don't even want to talk about City, as they have 2x world class squads, and Pepe is running that team for 6-7 year as well, which is huge.
Chelsea is in front of us in terms of players, and United was in front of us, right now i don't think so, but they will make transfers that is sure.
People should looks realistic, and the realistic part is cementing ourselves in top 4, and if Levy shows ambition to move from that point on.
We should focus on our team and try to improve it inch by inch.
Lets be real, most people here were saying all of our squad is **** and washed up, before Conte come. He has done great thing, but we were on the verge of not getting top 4. Woolwich has managed to blew it big time.
Perisic never played in the PL in his whole life. We don't know how he will do in the PL.
Serie A is played on a slow-motion compare to PL, so let's wait and see how he does, before we can say how much he can improve us.
As far as our midfielder goes i still stand by my words. We are still 1 solid Modric type of CM away from moving to next level.
We were lacking HUGE last season against tight defensive teams. We were getting dominated. And i remember games where we just can't pass the ball, and losing the ball in our side constantly.
Against a compact team with good MFs and solid on the back we suffer, because we lacked creativity.
Also we get pretty much ZERO goals from our midfielders, which is straight up bad.
And again i don't see Bentancur being that man.
And again Conte is Elite manager, no doubt about that and i would say top 5 in the world, but he is against top 5 in the world as well, on top of that they have better squad then him + 6-7 years of advance to build that team and play the way they want.
And one very important thing everyone seems to forget, we don't have the best GK in the world.
While Lloris is decent, he ain't world class, and is very prone to make silly mistake.
And before anyone trying to argue me:
He is sitting at Number 2 position with the most errors leading to goal since 2016.
And btw it's not like i don't want us to challenge for the title or straight up winning it, i just don't see it to be fair. And i prefer to have realistic expectations.
Also i already stated that the only way we challenge the 2 teams at the top is by them making mistakes, aka dropping their level or so.
If they stay at similar level i just don't see it.
And we have Chelsea, United and Woolwich to worry about as well.
You forgot to mention mugging off Man city for Sterling sale of £100m and Countinho sale to Barcelona for £120m, think another couple of high sales - funds a few players
I like him too but he's not good enough for us if we want to challenge for the title. He is definitely a good guy though, by all accounts.
