Transfers Summer 2022 Transfer Thread.

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I've made my feelings about Eriksen pretty clear at the time and in numerous "unpopular opinion" threads.

I tried to get on board as I was obviously quite moved by his return to football after his near death at the Euros and because I don't like being negative about Spurs if I can avoid it.

But I genuinely think of the post-Campbell transfer departures that none of them fuck me off as much as Eriksen. His performance in the UCL final, followed shortly by the interview, and then six months of embarrassingly downing tools was so disrespectful to club.

At least with Berba, Modric, Bale, Kane last year they were trying to fuck off because the club was out of Champions League and they had serious interest from a top 5 club in the world. Eriksen was desperate to bin us off after playing on the biggest stage of world football, when we were still in UCL, and with no top teams interested in him. He's lucky Conte worked his magic at Inter, because at the time that move happened it was a total lateral move or a step down even.

In my humble opinion the way Berba left made him to be a bigger twat than Eriksen.

Hate the player, and how he wormed his way back into the club. The mans a prize prick, refuse to play for the club and forever be an outcast.

"Dimitar Berbatov has admitted that he refused to play for Tottenham amidst the speculation ahead of his switch to Manchester United".

They are willing participants in the cult.

"The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about"

"There's no such thing as bad publicity"

I would beg to differ....

Not that Spurs stood much of a chance getting him anyway but is this fee is f true, well, then it's certainly a goodbye to Gvardiol joining Spurs

The Athletic’s Jack Pitt-Brooke has claimed that RB Leipzig could demand around €100m (£86m) for rumoured Tottenham target Josko Gvardiol this summer.

Should Bernardo Silva leave Man City (for Barca or any other club) I wouldn't be surprised if City goes for Raphinha (who's got his mind set on Barca). Right now Barca can't afford either of them.

From a Spurs perspective City losing Bernardo Silva for Raphina is pretty good. United blowing 75m on De Jong isn't too bad either.

So long as we act quickly to secure Richalison, so he doesn't end up at chelsea and we're left with few options.

It’s criminal that Romano is so highly regarded as a “journalist”

Other clubs may feed him the tiniest of scraps but he clearly has nothing from Spurs. Every day he just says random things about Spurs that contradict what he said like two days earlier.

I've been saying it so long I can actually spell it.....Szoboszlai.
Hed be class now and for the future. Will be tricky to get anyone out of RB Leipzig, without a run down contract. Take away the oil clubs and their owner, Oliver Mintzlaff, is the wealthiest owner in Europe I believe. 4th last year in Bundesliga, not sure if that spot makes UCL or if it's an EL.
Gvardiol quoted at £86m, £100m for Nkunku...

But of course over on Woolwich Mania forum, they are in with a real shot for Olmo for €35m 😅
