That’s 7 definite. Poss Spence, still have Rodon.Yes I know it’s different in Europe but we don’t have that many games even if we do well.
With 7we can have a 24 man squad plus under 21. We haven’t always had 25 man squad. A lot of teams don’t.
Not forgetting Tanganga who may stay with us .

A lot of them say it after they've left. Or after he's left. He's petulant & arrogant but I have no doubt he works hard on his game. I actually thought he was one of PSG's better pressers prior to the season just gone.

I think he'd be fine in a dressing room where he's the best player, and that works out at Chelsea. Really hope he doesn't go there, he's got a coach he loves in Tuchel & a player he gets on very well with in T. Silva to help him settle.

Doherty and Davies aren't homegrown in Europe. We can carry someone not registered in Europe for 6 months if necessary.

Davies and Doherty aren't eligible for champions league which causes serious issues. To properly compete in all competitions we need a full squad with 22 players minimum.

I'd rather they signed him than (eg) Lewandowski.

He'll hate the grind of the EPL.


Semi-related; Really relieved that they never got Bissouma to replace Kante....... God knows they'll need a player of that mold in a year or two.

I think Most people know Ali G knows very very very little 5% at most 95% opinion.... only knows a little more at times only when the club want to use him as a mouthpiece. Football.london is general clickbait crap with stories rehashed a million times worded diff, Ali G isnt the worst at doing it but he does his fair share

It's also dumb because Son & Kane have the best understanding of any attackers in the league, so much of how we play is based on their partnership.

Selling either one would be a huge risk.

I'd imagine wages forms part of the 'war chest' too, so it all adds up.

We will all want improvements elsewhere but we have already significantly improved.

Completely evades the point, mate.... Lots of people (here and beyond) put great stock in what he says IF/WHEN it suits them.

Jwp isn’t worth that but he is worth that to Southampton…. He’s regularly their best player and they’d struggle to replace him

Rice isn’t worth 150 but again same applies …. He’s almost priceless to them

Both clubs know this and attach an implausible highly inflated price on their player

Winks has nothing like this intrinsic value to THFC so the price becomes realistically market based
