They were not desperate to sell Phillips either. He wanted very much to leave and Raphinha is even more eager to leave - but that's for Barca.Does it put Raphinas price up now Philips has been sold and not desperate to sell?
think it's a good signing tbh.40+ mil to sit on the bench and boost their homegrown numbers.
I tried. You've just solidified my point - their respective clubs value those players at that price because that's what their clubs deem what their player is worth just like what we deem Winks' price at.

Did you not mention brojas nationality originally ? As a reason his price you considered inflated ?Yeah it's called a reply...you might want to go further back in the chat, tell it to the fella who bought it up![]()

I appreciate it’s a reply but if it’s incorrect I wouldn’t have bothered
A professional foul to stop a counterattack is also unsporting, be it by dragging down a player, or using your hand to stop the ball from getting to a player. Yet we applaud it. Suarez's was just closer to the goal. It's just the fact that it's very unsporting (yes it might win you a crucial game, but it takes a certain type of player to do such a thing IMO..and most players wouldn't do this..) and when added to all the other stuff he has done it compounds the overall dislike for the bloke.
I'm not anti baldy, I just think he should take a back seat on transfer negotiations now we have Paratici.
Fucking hate city. Powered by oil and cant fill their stadium. All on the take at that club. They've bought their success. Whole of europe hates them. Not jealousy but its plain cheating what they've done. Glad were their bogey club and pissed them off a few times over VAR.40+ mil to sit on the bench and boost their homegrown numbers.

Yeah I know what transpired hence my inputNo I brought it up because the OP mentioned that Winks is English, I incorrectly assumed that he wasn't English however the point still stands that he's also homegrown.
Strangely cheap deal, Phillips is English therefore already a premium, Eng international and a real big key player for them i would not have expected anything less than 50M as a minimum. Like Raphina he has 2 years left on his contract and in many way as good a pahnia has been for Leeds Phillips was more important in general , not only in terms of football but the drive and passion on and off the pitch leading by example.
