If Villareal don't pay 40m+ I wouldn't be opposed to giving Lo Celso another chance. IMO he could do what PEH does but with more goals/assists.
God no. It would be a disaster for all parties. Villarreal clearly want him and are willing to pay for him, he wants to stay there, and we have no idea how/where to play him when he comes back. Even though we miss out on a good/great player, it's the best decision since he won't perform for us given a lot of circumstances.

If they will pay us cab fare and food stamps they can keep the useless unpleasant tosser

Fuck lo Celso. I can’t see him playing for us another minute. He clearly didn’t liked to be at Tottenham
I'm sure he didn't like being here, and given the stuff Doherty said, it's not hard to understand.

We were a fucking toxic mess under late era Poch and Mou.

Still, I find it hard to believe he deliberately played badly for us.

I'd be happy to sell him for a high price, especially if it gets us Pau Torres or something, but I'd not be too upset if he came back.

We've lost KWP, Foyth, Aurier to bring in fucking Emerson. We are finally seeing bergwijn scoring goals, some even mockingly called him fatberg. He clearly isn't lazy like Ndombele, even at Spurs he was busy with a lot of tackling and pressing.

Currently we are short of HG players and hence are unlikely to have a full 25 man squad - could well be only 23 players plus maybe a couple of youngsters (eligible to become HG).

Other than adding an HG 2nd goalkeeper its unlikely we will increase our HG numbers to get to have a 25 man squad.

And if its 23 players, its simply 3 GK's and 2 players for other positions, and no extras !

Brutal. I didn't think we were that far from filling the HG reqs...

Romero and Gvadriol on either side of Dier would be insane. Barely need wingbacks with those two lol.

Can he win headers? That's probably a bigger priority.

Botman is as good as done to AC Milan, so we can rule him out. Bastoni won't leave Inter because there would be a riot by the Curve Nord if Inter sold him. That leaves Gvardiol and Schlotterbeck, both of whom I have limited knowledge on since I hate watching BuLi.
The best solution would be to convince Villarreal for a Lo Celso + £ offer for Pau Torres. He is great in the air, and his only weakness (the fact that he loses concentration rarely) is nullified by Dier and Romero.

He won't. Italian defenders rarely leave Italy, and he won't find better there than Inter. Look at Skriniar who isn't even Italian, he sacked his agent and lowered the agent fees just to renew his contract there.
Impossible to say if you don't know him and his agent. Paratici and especially Conte can always try and see what happens then if they really want him.

He rejected the chance to join Leeds, instead sealing a €16m (£13m) move to RB Leipzig – since when the youngster has exploded in the world footballing scene.

Indeed, the centre-back has quickly established himself as a first-team regular at Leipzig, featuring in 26 Bundesliga fixtures this season, over which the £21k-per-week defender has helped his side keep five clean sheets, as well as making an average of 1.7 interceptions, 1.7 tackles, 1.9 clearances and winning six duels – at a success rate of 58% – per game.

The 20-year-old has also impressed going forwards, scoring two goals, registering two assists and creating four big chances for his teammates, as well as taking an average of 0.9 shots and making 0.5 key passes per fixtures.

These returns have seen the £100m starlet who Ivica Olic claimed “everyone is talking about” average a quite astonishing SofaScore match rating of 7.12, ranking him as Domenico Tedesco’s third-best player in the German top flight.

Transfermarkt have him £27m but other reports, which say Conte likes him, suggest we will have to break our transfer record.
I don't normally get excited by players' video compilations but I like this guy's strength, aggression and confidence. And he likes to get forward.
Contracted to 2026.
