Ornstein reporting that Fraser Forster is our free agent target for backup goalkeeper. No mention of Sam Johnston, who was heavily tipped to sign on a free by George Bannister and P O Keefe.

He's actually been decent when I've seen him lately.. but Johnston is five years younger. Probably not much difference between them in quality.

Ornstein is usually reliable.
Forster is a decent goalkeeper and if Johnstone has decided to go back to United as some reports are saying. Like Johnstone he is also on a free.

Also a ICM Stellar client. An agency that we love doing business with.

Considering Forster's age I wouldn't rule out him coming in to serve as third keeper (or letting Sam and Fraser duke it out for the second spot).

EDIT: According to the Lilywhite Rose twitter account, Johnstone has been approached by Palace to become their new Number 1.

Rumours that Johnston (much sought after by PL clubs) will be a no 1 PL GK this TW, not something Spurs could offer, so we've gone for a solid no 2 presumably with plan to buy no 1 next summer when Lloris may/may not be retiring

Yea he can keep defenses busy. And get lot of screen time. And does a lot of running.

But fuck me, he does not produce ANYTHING at all.
People were acting like he proved something with Crystal Palace game (where he was brilliant, I agree)...
And after that ?!? he has played 655 minutes of EPL football and scoring 0 goals giving 2 assists. That is 1 goal involvement in 327,5 minutes.
That is nothing.

Having Moura as part of front 3 is almost like playing with 10 men.

Some still did not believe me when I pointed his non existent contribution few months back.
And then Kulu arrived. And people suddenly understood that 3rd player of the attacking trio could and should pitch in as well. And some eyes were opened.

We need to improve and Moura (approcahing age 30) will have to be sacrificed for that goal.
Moura isn’t going anywhere. He has one year on his contract left and he plans to run it down and return to São Paulo.
We have no leverage over him. He’s at the end of his career and not involved with the international team.

lol stupid club, the fans were so hell-bent on him coming to the club that they were clapping him when PSG played at the Bernabeu and he isn't even their player yet Bale gets whilstes and boos when he's won 4 fucking CL's with them, they deserve everything they get, bunch of pricks.
This post. Squared.
Vile team with even worse supporters.
If true, I will be all over RM Twitter rubbing salt into their wounds.

I just don't think there's a quality market for RWBs right now. The best ones (Alexander-Arnold, James, Hakimi, Kimmich) are already at top clubs who would have no interest in selling them to any club. Then there's quite a big drop to the next level, and one basically skips a level of RWBs before one gets to the likes of Spence, Jones, Singo, Mæhele, Traore, Dest, Dumfries who Spurs have been linked with. All of them have various big question marks about them.
This means that one has to be realistic when saying the likes of Jones, Lamptey, Spence, Singo, or whoever aren't quality enough for Conte at RWB. I just don't think there's an obvious player Spurs should go out and sign for this position of enough quality to be a stand-out. It’s a market issue rather than a Spurs issue. Even teams with more money and pulling power than Spurs are struggling to find the quality they’re looking for in a RB/RWB.
And to make matters a bit worse, the best RWB that Spurs most probably could have gotten this summer, Tino Livramento*, is now injured out 2022.*
*PS! Yes, I know Chelksi have a buy-back option on Livramento.
