It’s a difficult situation.

If he stays for next season, it’ll truly show what he can do in Conte’s system when we’re in for all four trophies and I’m sure he’ll get much more match time as Kane or Sonny will be rested.

But from his perspective, will he want to stay on the off chance he’ll get games or go somewhere that is guaranteed minutes.

If there was truth to us attempting to get Lukaku, I’d much prefer we tried to keep Bergwijn; outside of being shorter, he has the qualities to hold up the ball, is quite strong and can definitely finish as well (if not better!) than Lukaku.

In what world can Bergwijn finish as well if not better than Lukaku ???

I'm not a fan of Lukaku, but that's some crazy shit you posted there.

are you sure? try to buy chiesa for 70M and tell me if they sell him
Juve don't have the debt Inter have. Inter's debt also comes from politics, since China doesn't allow their citizens to invest a good fortune in a foreign country anymore, and Inter are owned by a Chinese company (Suning) who was putting money into them. Even with that, Juve are still having financial difficulties to some extent, Ronaldo and Ramsey ruined them as well. fogueres fogueres knows more details about this obviously.

Spurs trying to recover similar amount to fee we bought him from PSV for, which is fair enough as Bergwijn is a young player who for whatever reason hasn't really settled at Spurs, although sporadically has shown greatness whether his 2 late goals to beat Leicester or recently scoring for Netherlands.

Ajax are proper tight arses, they are not poor and can afford the 25M euro we paid for him

I’m very interested after the LCB and RWB who we look at for the more forward positions CM and a forward. Few names for the CM in the mix - Mckennie, eriksen, SMS not too much chatter on. Forward - Sterling? Bale seems unlikely, Jonathan David would be interesting but not too many links.

Dybala looks inter bound and Martinez by all accounts is keen to stay. Will be an interesting few weeks! I’m excited and pretty chill about it all.

A star RWB would be the fucking business I’m taking like Reece James, Hakimi, Trent AA level would be amazing.
