Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

There isn’t any reason why Eriksen would go to United. Ten hag went to Ajax ages after Eriksen left them for us. Zero convection whatsoever
preface this by saying I think he probably ends up with us, but...

The only thing, and it's been in my head since we were initially mooted to bring him back, is that he left Tottenham to try something new. I wouldn't be surprised if he was interested in a fresher experience than playing for a manager and club he's played for in the past.

for me Dembele had a strange, almost unnatural way to play and move. So strong physically, insane balance, didn't need huge speed. Not really seen much of that in other players, not sure we will again for a long time but Bissouma can go a long way to filling that void, and at £30m it's a snip

"See, my daddy always told me to be just like a duck. Stay smooth on the surface and paddle like the devil underneath!"

[ Name that film anyone? ]

Always springs to mind when I think of Dembele cruising round MF like a boss.

Adam Crafton of the Athletic reporting that us and Woolwich are interested in Raphina, and that Barcelona are unlikely to pursue him for financial reasons. Also mentions our interest in Richarlison, and that it would be a case of Richarlison or Raphina, not both.

I really like Raphina, he's obviously class. I don't really see him playing anywhere but RW though, has anybody seen him play effectively on the left? Richarlison probably fills more gaps for us imo.

Richarlison is the sensible choice, I just don't want those fucks getting Raphinha

Let's buy him and loan him out to Barca :D

Probably Paratici doing his usual thing of keeping lots of irons in the fire at the same time

In all fairness to Winks, if he can't see his limitations as a "top four" midfielder then he should now.

Love his loyalty to the club, but to be successful at this level there is no room for sentimentality.
His loyalty to the club is nothing more than knowing fully well the bench at Spurs is the high point of his career from now on.
And the way's been playing for a few years, the bench isn't even likely.

Should Bissouma complete his move to Spurs, Antonio Conte wants at least four more signings, including two defenders, a creative midfielder and a forward. He would like them to arrive before the club’s tour to South Korea in the middle of July to give him the chance to work with them in pre-season. Tottenham are quietly confident of securing Christian Eriksen’s return as a free agent after the midfielder’s short-term deal at Brentford. Tottenham have an interest in Richarlison, the Everton forward.

Conte wants to offload around eight players including Sergio Reguilón, Emerson Royal, Steven Bergwijn, Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele. Ajax offered £17 million for Bergwijn, around £8 million less than demanded by Tottenham. Emerson has had interest from clubs in Spain. Villarreal have had talks to turn Lo Celso’s loan into a permanent deal which the Spanish club hope will be worth £16 million plus £5 million in add-ons, which is less than Tottenham want.

So UEFA will be increasing first team squad numbers to seventy five players next season?

football.london understands that Spurs have snapped up highly-rated Ireland U19 goalkeeper Josh Keeley. The 19-year-old plays for St Patrick's Athletic and will arrive at the Premier League club in the wake of five goalkeepers being released at various levels in recent weeks.

It actually drives me bananas when I read/hear people repeat nonsense they learned from Top Gear about America. Don't hate me for being a tourist but I did the pacific coast drive and it was epic. Better than anything I've ever done in the South East of England. I suspect the best I could do in the whole of the UK is the NC500 and I'm not really up for driving 500 shitty miles to do a 500 mile fun drive to then drive 500 shitty miles back.
I've always wanted to do the Pacific coast from Seattle to San Diego on a motorcycle. Top of my list for the coming years.

And by touristy I meant more US semi-locals. I was lucky to do the posted road several times in a car and on a motorcycle before social media, when if you went mid morning on a Tuesday there'd be basically zero traffic. I was young, and dumb, then so it was wickedly fun danger. Now it's pretty hard to get even a half decent run down the road in good weather because everyone knows about it and has to do it for the 'Gram.

Kinda like Havasupai Falls in AZ. You used to be able to show up and hike out there. Now there are permits they sell once a year, and you basically have to be online refreshing the window fighting the circle of death on the day, because the whole year will sell out in minutes.

Social media has ruined everything cool. Don't mind me, just ranting totally off topic.

Summary:
- Gretar Steinsson - Performance Director.
- Andy Scoulding - Assistant.
- Dean Rastrick - Academy Manager
- Simon Davies - Head of Methodology (ensuring a closer synergy between the first team and academy levels.) <<<< This sounds great!
- Chris Powell - Head of player development in the academy
Apart from the corporate made up job title, I like the idea of Simon Davies coming back to Spurs....

He's gained experience at Anderlecht under Kompany, and is clearly attached to us... Or else he'd be at Burnley by now!

Plus, it paves the way for Bale to return, with at least THREE compatriots already at the Club!
