How many days will it be until we’ve been linked to every player in Inters squad?

If we are this place should be fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun

Bremer is such a good defender, forwards would genuinely be quaking in their boots having to play against two center halves as physical and aggressive as him and Romero. The two most recent Serie A Defenders of the Season.

Admittedly, he’s not the perfect profile for us as he’s a CCB and we’re clearly looking for a left footed LCB, but Bremer could definitely play LCB even if it’s not his best position.

If we get Bremer and aren’t willing to spend big for another CB, I’d go for Lenglet on loan as a rotation option. He’s had a rough couple years but he was top class before that and Barca have been a total mess at the back. He’s been partnering ancient Pique and young Araujo and Garcia.

He’s left footed and amazing in possession which we could use. If he sucks, we have Bremer and Davies who are plenty capable. But Lenglet needs a change of scenery and all the bullshit and coaching changes have hurt lots of Barcelona players. I could see him having a Kulusevski/Bentancur-esque bounce back. Always thought he’d be better playing in a 3 center half system than a 2 as well, he has some stylistic similarities to Bastoni.

Looks the business

Plays LCB
Most of the reports say he’s going to Inter and some say personal terms agreed. I’m guessing the delay will be in Inter moving Skriniar to make room for him. They won’t want to bring him in until they screw their last Euro out of PSG. I’ve read that his desire to acquire Italian citizenship is a major consideration.

If we can hijack it then fair enough but Torres looks much more doable although I would still prefer Bastoni to both.

Still think there's a very good ball playing LCB here, impressed in the CL, bulk up a bit and improve a bit in the air and he's a top quality LCB.

He should stay at Brentford. Gets to play every week, be the main man.

There’s no fucking way he gets that at Spurs or Utd next season.

If you don't fancy him in this context, then fair. But "no fucking way" only goes to show your bias.

Disqualify players only with cameos, then he was behind only De Bruyne and Alexander-Arnold for expected assists per 90 last season. He absolutely tore it up.

He may or may not be the ideal fit for us. Also with history and all. But he would walk into teams better than United and maybe even our new-look team.

If we have room in the squad for Eriksen we have the ability to play 352 in some games, but unless we have 2 of them we will not be able to play that in all games, just too many games. And with our HG limitations we will probably have a squad of maximum 23 implying 2 players per position plus a 3rd GK, meaning its difficult to play 2 formations.

ATM the choice of incoming wing backs (Perisic and Spence strongly suggests that they will be providing the creativity.
I still think we may go for another CM, that will transform our game. Or as you say Eriksen, but he is more of a CAM player, and a different type, but he is also good at unlocking enemy team defense.
I hope we get Spence as well. Young, talented and hungry, exactly what type of players we need.

Still a lot links to young LWBs, McNeil seems like another in that mould. Wouldn’t surprise me if we snapped up him or that Udogie from Italy with the plan for one of them to be in place in two years when Perisic’s contract runs out along with Sess.

I hope to God we are not left fcuking around trying to sign an essential striker of some quality.

I see it happening despite a strong start to the summer transfers.

It would be incomprehensible were it to happen again, because eventually you get completely caught out.

Whatever else we do this window and we are still 3 or 4 short, a striker of quality is an absolute priority.
It’s. Not
