£80m for an unproven CB is insane. I have criticised ENIC for their lack of spending over the years but that’s just a stupid signing. Signing Bremer for £35/40m and using the rest of money elsewhere is far wiser.

No chance. If De Jong goes, Barca has made it clear that they will go for Bernardo Silva to replace him. The only way Raphinha ends at Barcelona is if Dembele goes, and with each passing day his chances of staying grow exponentially. It's Woolwich, Spurs or Chelsea for Raphinha.

Oh I agree there. Gvardiol would be a better and not as risky choice especially since we play a back three but 80 mil for a 20 yr old after 1 good season is tough.
