Now where did I say the signings so far are not good? I’ve been banging on about YB for over a year. I’m not keen on rich but if that is what conte wants then so be it. What I’m saying is maybe we also go for raphina. We have plenty of players who we could offer in exchange plus cash. Just think 5/6 top quality forwards is needed so that you can interchange as required. Citeh, pool , chavs have it even goons to some extent. So why not us?
Anyway it’s just about raphina all I am saying is we could do with one player who offers some different a game changer when plan A isn’t working. We saw enough games last season where we couldn’t break teams down but basically subbed like for like. Hence me saying ericksen as well or neves. Would improve our style of play considerably and wouldn’t rely on WBs to provide all the creativity.

Our “record” since Conte came has seen an upturn in the form of most players who were already here - & those who didn’t were given short shrift. The signings have been on the money.
I’m so chilled about whoever we sign. Seems to me like there is a genuine reason to be optimistic and if a signing doesn’t work out then it will be a short lived mistake while Conte remains. None of this “can’t sell at a loss” bollocks. The shift in attitude is promising that we are going to behave like the big boys from now on instead of wanting to be the big boys.

Our forward power is much better than the chavs and goons so wtf are you banging on about 🤦‍♂️

The goons do not have 5-6 top quality forwards to any extent at all mate. That’s plain wrong

We’ve had a sensational window so far, and Rich improves us further.
Chelsea have also had a great window after spending big- Mount Sterling Raphinha is a quality front 3 (just not as good as ours).

Woolwich having a decent window but now even further behind top 4 cos they couldn’t get Raphinha.

A creative midfielder only fits Conte's system if he changes to 3 in the middle - just too much work for a single DM alongside a creative. And 3 in middle means only 2 forwards, so the creative CM has to be very creative to overcome the loss of the 3rd forward's (eg Kulusevski) loss of goals and assists.

And Ndombele is pretty much the opposite of a CM in Conte's system - great at waddling off to find a KFC shop, bad at running for 10 or 11 kms in a game to be creative as Eriksen (for example) did.

He's just not a fool. Wide forward don't want to compete with Son and Kulusevski shock. The people banging on about him need to be asked is he better than the golden boot winner...no? OK the Swede who had the most goal contributions in his first was it 20 games in EPL history? More than KDB managed. If Raphina out assists and scores Kulu (next season baring in mind the bloke arrived mid season new house team mates country what happens when he's setteled) then fair play to him but I get he wouldn't fancy taking that risk.
