So SC had a 'cryptic' this week and the solution was apparently:

Missing letter R, missing letter I and missing letter N

Tie a yellow ribbon = Brazil

But i'd like to thank those who counted letters and came up with all sorts of complicated solutions which totally muddied the waters for what was about as simple a cryptic as you're ever likely to get.

They do shit like that and then have a tantrum about people guessing and close down the thread that they have everyone paying for...

Then they act like they're doing everyone a favour when they open it back up again, and the idiots that they're gaslighting come back in all saying sorry, having a go at people not following "the rules" and making donations again...

For PL Rodon is HG it’s just Europe when the welsh are seen as foreign.
Gil is under 21 if he comes back. As is Sat. Doubt either will be back. As it stands, incl Spence we have 7 HG. We just need to shift a few of the foreign players. Bergy, Lo Celso should be ok to sell.
Will have to try and get a loan for Tanguy or we might have to give him away.
Will be interesting to see who is left behind when we go to South Korea.

Nobody building a squad to compete in Europe is going to build a squad using PL rules - only UEFA rules as we are not going to end up with 2 squads.

So PL rules are irrelevant and just misleading to put forward.

So we're looking like...

Son - Kane - Kulusevski

Perisic - Bissouma - Højbjerg - Doherty

Lenglet (possibly) - Dier - Romero

Lloris

GK Forster, Austin
CB Davies, Sanchez, Tanganga,
WB Sessegnon, Emerson, Spence (possibly)
CM Skipp, Bentancur, Sarr (likely to be loaned out)
FW Richarlison, Lucas, Clarke (likely to be loaned out)

With Bergwijn, Lo Celso, Ndombele, Winks, Rodon, Gil and Reggie all likely to leave.

It's a considerably stronger squad than last season but I still think we're a little light. An injury to either Dier or Romero and we're relying on Sanchez to start. The same applies to up top, despite Richarlison coming in. An injury to any of the top three and we're down to Lucas and Clarke as cover (who I think needs a loan)

I'm sure Paratici/Conte/Levy have other plans. There's no doubt that our starting XI is much stronger this time round. A couple more signings for cover and we'll be up there with the big boys I reckon.

Although Lingard proved a while ago that he can be effective as a number 10, it’s the only position he’s not completely rubbish in. We do not play a formation that suits him, and even if we did we have better options available.

Plus he’s a bit of a knob.

Skill and ability wise, Lingard would be a decent option, giving you a good level of rotation player for 3-4-3 and 3-5-2.. he's the kind of player Conte would get playing to a good level I think. Wouldn't hate it, but find him annoying. A red flag would be how he hasn't managed to crack his way into a poor Man United side more regularly, but I guess they had guaranteed starters Bruno/Pogba playing poorly in his place making 300k pw. If he came in, worked hard and didn't kick up a fuss I'd be happy enough with him. .

I think his main attribute would be an HG player with PL experience - and there are very few (if any) of those available.

But I think I'd prefer to have a go for Keane Lewis-Potter E u21 from Hull who reminds me a little of Jarrod Bowen and has similar stats to Bowen when aged 20.
