I know he’s ‘trying’ to be funny.

But he just isn’t.

And I don’t find shit like that funny during a cost of living crisis like what we’re enduring right now.

Fuck off and fist yourself Archibald you odious pig

I worry for the future of mankind.

200 hundred fucking quid given to total strangers? I would guess that they have taken more than a grand today possibly more, members giving money to people that they have never met?

Incredible stupidity.

I guess to each his (or her) own but if I had that kind of disposable income, personally that’d be going to a charity that’s close to me.

Not up to me to dictate how people spend their moolah though, just a personal opinion.

I've never been to that place (I don't even know what SC stands for), but I see people here posting about it a lot, and it always sounds pretty ridiculous, but this is genuinely disgusting.

What kind of raging masochist do you have to be to pay for the privilege of being a disrespected cash-cow for a bunch of faceless frauds lying about Spurs transfers?

Like, at least financial dommes are there to help you get your rocks off, if you're into that sort of thing. That, I can somewhat understand.

This is just... Woof.

What?

Did you see Eriksen's impact on Brentford, he's absolute quality, he's better than Tielemans now (who's been pretty average this season) and has always been better than him anyway.

I don't give a shit what Eriksen did at Brentford, it's what any player coming into the club does for Spurs against the best in the Premier League Europe.

Going to Brentford speaks volumes of how PL clubs value him.

He's heading for the end of his career, he downed tools in his last season with us and wanted out. Why not give someone younger who wants to play for the club and not chase one final payday an opportunity.

Short memories some fans.

Never seen Jesus score almost any goals that weren’t tap ins. He doesn’t perform at high level in big games. Don’t see him ever getting to the level of scoring 20 league goals per year

He was brilliant in both games vs Liverpool last season, games don't come any bigger than that for this City team.

I think he's a decent but not exceptional player who will improve Woolwich but not to any dramatic degree .. I could see 12-15 league goals or so.

Thoughts on RWB……. :sonhmm:

It would seem from our many, ambitious and early dealings that Conte wants to go for a title this season and ENIC is backing him.

That’s fantastic.

We’ve strengthened some “weak” positions (CM and LWB) and even some strong positions (£60m Richarlison is in no way a guaranteed starter because of Kane-Son-Kulu).

That’s fantastic.

But it leaves me puzzled about our RWB-strategy.

We seem to be getting Spence, a promising young player, which in itself is great.

In addition, we have Emerson and Doherty. They’ve both had some good and bad spells, but I don’t think either would be considered good enough to start in a title-chasing PL team. And as for Spence, I don’t think anyone would demand or expect that he can jump from the Championship to the first 11 in a title-chasing PL team.

So, although I basically like all 3, it just seems like our strategy for RWB is a bit disjointed from the rest of the strategy. It would make the most sense to get a better RWB than to get more RWB’s this season.

Or is it just me?:avbcringe:

Disclaimer: Very happy with this window so far, just digging into the finer details here.

I get your confusion, but few aspects you might consider -

- we are likely to sell Winks, so we need additional HG players. And there are not too many reasonable HG RWBs out there.
- we have added experienced (Perisic, Forster) and prime age players (Rich, Bissouma + very likely Lenglet) into the side - so there is nothing wrong with some younger options as well to bring balance.
- he just did not play in Championship. He was starter for team that got promoted. And was picked for the team of the season. He is 21yo who has already played 8400 minutes of senior football.
- a year ago many asked if certain Oliver-named-Champo-team-of-the-season-player would be good enough for EPL side... And he absolutely was. List of other such examples can be found. Bowden, Watkins, Maddison.. Etc. I don't think that it is impossible step for player still developing. Much more questions would be asked if we'd be talking about 29yo player without EPL experience.
- he has 2 years left and coupled with other facts, he would be quite reasonable priced.

When you consider all the other things you could do with a spare £200 that could really make a difference - local things like foodbanks, hospices etc.; more wide ranging things like helping out in some way with the Ukraine conflict...

And you give your money to fantasists and liars who show their colours every summer and winter.

It's not just pathetic or stupid, it's bordering on immoral.

So you only value what players do for Spurs so how are you rating Tielemans? That doesn't make any sense.

Brentford are the only club that took a chance on him, naturally because of what happened during the Euro's, that's nothing to do with ability - he's 30 years old mate, he could essentially go for another 3-4 years at this level, hardly coming towards the end of his career, you sound like an Woolwich fan ffs.

The rest is your post is irrelevant, you said that Tielemans is better than Eriksen, no he isn't and it's even more laughable since Tielemans has come off his poorest season since he's been in the PL.
