Maybe it’s just me but £2.5m shouldn’t be a big enough gap for Spence to have missed the start of pre season, esp considering he plays in a position that arguably needs the most tactical instruction.

Having played for u21's he like all the players involved in the internationals were due back on Friday or today.

First few days back are medical assessments etc, so he's not actually missed anything as of today.

On an isolated topic, perhaps he's fine, but he's severely lacking in objectivity, hypocritical and views everything on a basis of what's best for the players (money & gratification).

Also:

Used to see him out in London regularly, him and Diccio partying😎😎

Apparently it's unreasonable requests regarding bonus payments down the line and probably sell on fee as well.

Yeh, at one point it was reported that they wanted a 50% sell-on which is ludicrous!

Also, inserting a CL qualification clause for a club already in the CL is bogus too.

The squad for our matches against Team K League (Wednesday 13 July, 8pm UK) and Sevilla (Saturday 16 July, 8pm) in the Coupang Play Series in Korea has been confirmed as follows...

Hugo Lloris
Fraser Forster
Brandon Austin
Josh Keeley
Davinson Sanchez
Cristian Romero
Eric Dier
Japhet Tanganga
Malachi Fagan-Walcott
Ben Davies
Charlie Sayers
Matt Doherty
Emerson Royal
Rodrigo Bentancur
Yves Bissouma
Pape Matar Sarr
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg
Oliver Skipp
Harvey White
Ryan Sessegnon
Ivan Perisic
Bryan Gil
Dejan Kulusevski
Richarlison
Harry Kane
Troy Parrott
Lucas Moura
Heung-Min Son

The squad fly out to Korea on Saturday evening.

Joe Rodon (illness) has missed out, while Clement Lenglet’s recent arrival means he is without the necessary documentation to travel to Korea.

Giovani Lo Celso, Tanguy Ndombele, Sergio Reguilon and Harry Winks
will continue their pre-season preparations at Hotspur Way. Alfie Devine and Dane Scarlett have further time off following their international commitments and recent success in the UEFA European Undet-19 Championship.

You can follow our tour in Korea both on and off the pitch across all Club channels, with both matches screened live on our new home for exclusive live and on-demand video, SPURSPLAY - the only place to watch all of our Men’s First Team’s pre-season friendlies this summer.

They're defo out then. Thought Emerson might be too.

Read something similar somewhere. Something like a 50% sell on clause. Stupid. If that’s the case, this one could either drag on until late in the window-or not get done
And if they're looking for extra for stuff like England call up, certain appearances made etc on top of that sell-on it just makes it a headache. Still, if we've identified him as the player we want we should try to get it done.

Makes me wonder if a move for Reg is imminent.... Bit harsh on him otherwise to find himself excluded from the group.
