Transfers Summer 2022 Transfer Thread.

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

bus-conductor bus-conductor Suggestions we're after the little genius known as Nabil Fekir. I was surprised to see he's still only 28 years old, and the rumoured chronic injury problem (knee?) doesn't seem to have stopped him playing a lot of games for Betis.

Fekir would definitely bring creativity to our attacking options. Maybe we can send GLC the other way.

Bin Laden's younger brother....

Very happy seeing Inter fucking around all summer and now potential to loose Dybala and Bremer, while also potentially still loosing Skriniar

Inter have screwed themselves by not pinning PSG down on a firm bid for Skriniar and then forcing that through into a done deal to give themselves some cash to play with. Would have been better to accept Spurs bid for Bastoni, tell him he's moving, and then ask Spurs to close quickly (which we can do as shown in Bissouma and Richarlison deals).

Now they risk losing all, especially with Bastoni down to one year left on contract next summer.

Offloading GLC back to Betis may be part of the deal. That's my speculation, I've seen no links.

Regardless, if the 3 main AM / creative CM options are Maddison, SMS and Fekir, then Fekir will definitely have the lowest transfer fee.

Conte certainly isn't bothered by resale value at the end of any contract. We'll see whether Levy & Paratici are.....

I find the links to SMS really peculiar but at the same time typical football manager irony.

He’s lazier and less mobile than both Ndombele and Lo Celso and if we used him like we used them (in midfield two’s mostly) there’s no fucking way he’d get the goals/assists he got in Série A.

As an 8/10 hybrid in a midfield three, he might chip in a couple more goals assists, but we could just try and get the best out of Ndombele or Lo Celso and save ourselves a ton of money that could be spent getting a top quality player we don’t already have.

I don't share your obvious distain for Maddison, but I do agree regarding our current flexibility.

I can't understand why people think we need to sign a specific CAM to go 352 when any one of Kane, Son, Kulu or Richarlison is perfectly capable of dropping deep and doing it. Kane is actually better at it than almost any specific CAM alive today as well.
I think with signing richarlison, a 3-5-2 where Son and Richarlison are being fed by Kane could well be an unbelievable weapon for us to use when needing a goal.

The issue is defensively, we need to be very solid behind them.
