If true, that's a pretty great troll job by Mourinho. Spin us up for a couple of weeks over Zaniolo, take the game in Haifa by bunkering, then tell us to "Fuck Off"! He's probably cackling in his underground lair right now.

........Meanwhile, it's all barely a blip for us.

There are other players, plenty of time to buy one and the friendly was pretty meaningless.

...In hindsight it was a shit fixture for a number of reasons.

Great article on player transfers in The Athletic today, well worth a read on the use of data based on the quality of a League and the chances of success of a player when moving to another League.

Interesting example of if Kane moved to Man United, where the data project that it would move United up the table (last season) by two places based on goals he would score and the weakening of Spurs.

Some good stories by Bilic in there as well. A much travelled player and Manager.

Not a major improvement but enough to make CL football.

I agree with this, and he was first choice until he got injured and Sessengnon stepped in. It seems to be the fact he isn't home grown which is forcing him out.
Agreed. In addition to the HG value of Sess, he's a bit more sound defensively. If you're looking for a LWB pairing for Perisic, you probably go with the backup that has a better defensive game, than the one who's a little better on the ball.
