(I'm not coming at this from a Sess 'fan' point of view......)

- Sess has put a few good defensive shifts in against the big sides.
- Gets his head up more, links up better with those around him and smarter with the ball.
- Reckon Conte prefers his less eratic nature over Reg.
Fair points.

I’d say the less erratic nature and the fact he’s not home grown but could still gather a decent fee from a European club is why Reguillon has been deemed expendable by Conte.

We'll be taking a sizeable hit on Reg(*)...... Though I'm not sure that would necessarily be part of Conte's concerns.

(*To think he was seen as safe money what with the RM buy-back clause.....)

If Brighton can afford Angeliño then so could Spurs. A season ago Angeliño was rated world class by Kickers ....but now he may end up as 2nd choice to Leipzig...

Brighton consider RB Leipzig's Angelino to replace Marc Cucurella

Brighton line up a move for RB Leipzig defender Angelino as a possible replacement for Marc Cucurella as Chelsea look to beat Manchester City to the £50m-rated full-back

  • The 25-year-old may leave the Red Bull Arena after the arrival of David Raum
  • Angelino also attracted the interest of West Ham and German side Hoffenheim

RB Leipzig left-back Angelino could be returning to the Premier League as Brighton's replacement for Marc Cucurella.

With Cucurella close to a move to Chelsea after submitting a transfer request, the Seagulls are looking to fill that gap.

And with RB Leipzig's recent acquisition of Germany international David Raum on a five-year deal from fellow Bundesliga side Hoffenheim, Spanish-born Angelino could be close to moving away.

I think he's too little for what Conte wants.

Sess is in danger of being the next Winks if he doesn't start being more ambitious with his attacks.
Too often we're seeing him halt and hinder attacks and the bottle it by passing inside.

Requilon is the opposite - he's a Kamikaze attacker who barrells into the box and hits balls across it.

I don’t want zaniolo. He seems the typical player that a club buys for a manager, that manager leaves and then the club are lumbered with him. The injuries are a worry long term though surely even if he played all last season. With our medical team too he could be back in trouble pretty quickly!

"He seems the typical player that a club buys for a manager"

Name me a typical player a club does not buy for a manager?

I mean the rate of turnover of PL managers would suggest that under your theory no club should buy any players?

So even if he went through a season uninjured he still shouldn't be brought into the club? Do you think the same about Skipp?

I believe we've always acted responsibly with regards to wages, unfortunately nobody could predict a global pandemic and the impact this would have. Certain teams and leagues are suffering off the back of this and the impending global recession. People are clearly cautious.

To those who say just cut them adrift, how is that possible without paying up a huge percentage of their contract, or coming to a compromised agreement?

I expect the club's financial department are well aware of the impact of this, as opposed to selling on as they were happy to do this with Aurier, didn't we do the same with Rose?

So if it makes sense they will do it. If not they believe it is better to hold out

Sounds like reverse Diaz, let Newcastle do the work and find the price then jump in.

Levy waiting for the right time to hit the "buy now" button for Maddison....

Not the point......

He had mad hype.... Shining star of Sevilla's EL win... La Liga LB of the year etc.

The fact is most people here were all frothy about Reg being a "must have"..... Now; true to form, they're trying to wahs their hands of the fact.

Wrong, again. I and many others said at the time it was a shit deal and took absolute pelters from the likes of you for saying so!

The buy back clause in effect meant if he shone with us we'd lose him, if he stunk or underperformed we got to keep him.....

He’s a headless chicken who runs into trouble and gets pushed off the ball by everyone

Sess has a much higher ceiling than Reguilon

There's still a month left in the transfer window, but moving out the unwanted players is going to be a challenge.

The current Spurs with a significant war chest, CL, and a WC manager is an easy proposition to sell to an incoming player and the selling team. It's getting the surplus out that's hard and where Paratici will need to earn his chops.

Winks I think will go, he is now so far down the pecking order that I can't see him laying in anything other than the very early rounds of the FA/CC . That simply won't suit him at all. He is still young enough and i would guess wanted enough, he just has to accept that he won't be playing for a top six club.

LoCeslo sounds like it's a done? and Tanganga likely a loan? The only player that sounds like he can't be shifted is Lurch.
