Villa fans will and should be absolutely fuming.

Another kids career that will never see the light of day... end his career unknown on loan to 50 clubs yet still being a scummy chav player ..... his advisors must be stupid or they are all money grabbing twunts, so much more chance of game time at villa

The team that finished last season were on a bloody roll ffs once Conte get them doing things “his way”.
If we started with the same XI that finished Woolwich off or drew with Liverpool or beat City or thrashed Norwich… it isn’t such a bad thing to have a better quality pool of players to integrate surely?
Rome wasn’t built in a day. I’d love to see all our signings ready to go from day one, but I think Conte would be integrating them little by little even if he had a full deck to play with.

wonder if Traore is the guy we end up with. Zaniolo blocked by Jose, Paqueta off to City if Barca get Bernardo and Maddison not for Conte.

What point....?

If Haaland & Phillips pull up injured on the eve of the season; have they had a mediocre window too?

How about the Goons w/Jesus & Zinchenko?

Chavs.... Sterling & Koulibali?

Liverpool.... Nunez and no-one?

......How many new starters is acceptable?

Tbf City/Liverpool don’t need big windows, they’re at a point where 1 top player as the cherry on top of the cake is fine. Chelsea have had a disappointing window by their standards.

Woolwich’s has been OK considering they only managed Europa League. Ours has clearly been good but arguably overhyped early in terms of improving the XI.

I don’t care how anyone tries to dress it up, the fact we’re once again going into a season where Doherty, Dier and Davies are first team starters is extremely disappointing.
Think your right . These 3 were top of the list to be shipped out pre conte. Ok we got top 4 but remember we played a different gane with 3 CBs and two holders so generally hiding their deficiencies. Dier in a 4 is crap sane with davies. They can do a job but they have a glass ceiling.

Maybe it has, maybe it hasn't, but Bissouma getting a knock changes nothing in the grand scheme of things; yet now it's supposedly an indicator that we haven't signed enough new starters and (ref another convo) we have depth issues at CM.

2 new starters as stands is an objective fact in the face of subjective criticism..... (In a months or so's time we might find Spence & Lenlet starting too, but that's TBC.)

So the question remains for those that are complaining or mocking... How many new starters IS acceptable?

Fair question given the comments starting to crop up here and elsewhere.
